I have my Visual Studio 2005 Prefessional Edition I wonder what
version is this


Here is the version..

Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
Version 8.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200

Mirosoft .Net Framework
version 2.0.50727


What is this? Is this part of the Beta Version? or a Release Version ?

This is the good one ;-). In particular the RTM indication means "Release To
Manufacturing" or something similar...

Release to Manufacturing. RTM is when MS sends the product to their
manufacturing division to press CDs and DVDs as well as print and bind the
any manuals. There is usually a 4 to 6 week delay from RTM to the store
shelves.
