The live site must have FPextensions.
Open FrontPage
File->Open Site/Web (depends on version)
Choose or type in the URL for the remote site in the form
http://www.example.com
Login
Edit.
All users must know the userid and password.
Alternatively for FP2003, Open the site on your PC in FrontPage.
Go to Remote Site view and login to remote site
Click "Open Remote Site in Front Page"
