When creating thumbnails using FP2003, I have several problems.
1. FP creates the thumbnail but appends a number at the end of the file
name. Why?
2. Once I have created the Thumbnail in FP, I work on the file in
Dreamweaver. Is there a way to enlarge the thumbnail?- yet retain a non
pixilated look? Sometimes the thumbnail is represented with the famous
RED CROSS. The path looks OK to me. Suggestions.
Thanks tlccsa

1- Usually it appends "small" to the file name to differentiate it from the
big image.

2- No - can't make images bigger.

2a- Don't use FP as an image editor. You can use IrFanview to work with
thumbnails and lots of other stuff too...it's free. The red cross happens
because you are either not opening your FP website and/or not IMporting
images into FP first before applying them to a webpage (within a web).

Rob
my problem with this is many fold and inconsistent. Sometimes it works
correctly and sometimes it doesn't. The word 'small' is appended to the
thumbnail. If I delete the ...small,jpg and then try to re-create FP
appends ...small1.jpg. If I repeat the process ...small2.jpg etc. With
both deleting the created ...smalls and adjusting the code, FP seems to
remember them. Have you experienced this?
Cheers

No. But I do know that if you create a FP gallery and then change stuff on
your own it probably will not work.

What's the URL to the problem site/page.
