When publishing to http://localhost/SomeName I receive an error telling me
the server extension are not installed.

I've checked the windows components and they show it installed. I've
searched for one of the files and it's present.

What else can I do?

Thanks

Thought I answered this one already.

You might want to look for it.

I don't think you answered this. I did search.

I checked the installed programs, windows components and it shows it's
installed.

I searched for one of its files and it shows in the search.

What else can I do?

Thanks.

It doesn't make any difference. IIS is IIS. You still have to configure them
for that web site. If you're using the default web site without a child web,
you have to configure the default web site. Make sense?

I've used this before but have recently reinstalled the OS. updated, etc.

I thought once it's installed it's running.

Sorry for my ignorance.
