The search page wizard in my FP2003 omits any choice for
what to search. Acording to a book I have there should be
choices but they are not ther. Any thoughts on this?

The search page template (from File New page) has never had any options for where to search
- Explain what you are looking for, or contact the author for an explanation

Stefan: The book *may* be making references to indexing service on the
Windows/IIS web server.

OK, here is the long story. I added a search page to my
website using the template for a search page in front
page 2003. Search results give not only the correct pages
from my web site, but extera files such as: how to set up
tha MS fax program, and other instructions for various
computer functions etc. So,it is searching "somewhere"
else in my computer in addition to my web site or in the
server,I guess. I thought there was a way when you right
click and open the "search form properties box" to select
a choice of 1.entire web site, 2.this web or 3.directory.
Two books I have about useing FP show such choices in
their pictures of the search properties box and explain
the choices in their text. So where are they, and would
finding and using them solve my problem?

i had a problem with my site's search finding old pages i had deleted from
my server. they told me to go to tools/recalculate hyperlinks and that
worked great for me. thought this might help.
