If I want to create a form in Frontpage and send the input
to an email address without loading Outlook at the
client's side, do I need to run a script on the server or
not?

If you set the form to send the results
to an e-mail address, it is done automatically
via the server without opening Outlook.
However, the e-mail needs to be sent to an
address associated with your domain.
i.e. you@yourweb.com
