    - java script works perfect in preview; not when viewed for reals! Okay, my JavaScript menu works great in FP2003 preview and in "Preview in Browser". But it does not even show up when the page is actually view as a normal page in a browser. Other JavaScripts work fine in the page. And this script works fine in other pages. Now my only clue is that the page is a .tpl page which links with other .tpl pages to form a complete .html page. But if other JavaScripts work on this page, why would this one not?     - Enabling Java in Preview I have done everything the HELP says but the Java and Java Script radio buttons are greyed out in Frontpage's Tools/Page Options. I don't point to Netscape as the browser. Even though they appear greyed out, they are checked. Does that mean they are enabled? And if they are why can't I see the Java Applet in PREVIEW mode? I am using DPA's Frontlook to include Java applications on my web page. They work once uploaded to my site, but they don't work in the Preview option. Am I missing something here?     - 2003 Front Page photo errors I am redoing my website in Front Page 2003. I have used the web component feature to redo the photo page. I took the photo's that were already on the webpage, and added them to web components to make a slide show and use the thumbnail capability. Everything looks good in the design page, and when I check it in multiple browsers, but when I look at it on the actual website, the pictures are all missing. Hovering over the boxes gives the caption, but not the picture. What am I doing wrong? My pictures are in a separate folder within the website, and I also tried to copy them to the photogallery folder itself, and neither works. On the design page, about 6 thumbnail photos show up with an arrow on each side for scrolling. On the actual web page, all the thumbnails are in a row and you need to use the bottom slider to get to the end of the long row and then the back arrow. Any way to fix that?     - Importing Multimedia Files I tried to import multimedia files into FP2000, but get a vague message: "An error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files.     - SDK example InitCaps confusion Hi -- trying to program my first FP2003 web component and I'm very confused. I'm not using FPSE or anything fancy, just FTP. Referring to the FP2002 SDK I looked at the Initcaps example. I put that into the _vti_bin directory of my web, recalculated hyperlinks, and inserted the webcomponent as described in the manual. I chopped out the preview paramter from the webbot tag so I can monitor what I'm looking at. In frontpage, it always shows [SmallCaps]. When I upload over FTP it says [Frontpage SmallCaps Component]. The built-in components like Navigation render properly in frontpage, and when they're uploaded via FTP they're static.     - Deployed Support Hey Im a marine with MSSG31. We push out updates for our website but the thing is, when you open the updated website, it will bring up cached files. And you have to clear your temporary files then refresh in order for the webpage to load. Now I know that you have to clear your temporary internet files and hit refresh, but the common marine mom does not. So she just look at the page and thinks its not updated. PLEASE HELP. I've accidently deleted one of the html files from my company's
web site. Is it possible to retrieve it anywhere? I was trying to start a new
file from an existing page and delete the link to the original page but both
pages got deleted when I tried to remove the link. How do I go about copying
a page and removing the link to the original page after I edit it? Thank you.

open the "live web":
in FrontPage file/ open web (or file/open site in fp2003). when it's open
find the page you need right click it and select publish selected files,
then browse to the local web you want it in.
