Hi all:

We have a website on a remote server, where we have also
installed a public forum using phpbb.

The issue is that whenever I publish changes to the site,
I am told that files on the server do not exist on my
computer, and do I want to remove the files on the remote
site. Of course I don't, because to do so would delete
the forum.

What can be done to eliminate the question every time I
publish?

Thanks.

If your host supports subwebs convert the folder containing it to a subweb, and don't open the subweb in FP or publish subwebs

Have you contacted: the folks from whom you go "phpbb" or
your web service provider?

Isolate the phpbb files into their own subweb.
