How to install picture and publish it to website

I am having problems publishing a page that I installed a picture in. The
text comes up fine, but the picture doesn't show up, only the place where the
picture should be and a small x in a box. Help

What procedure did you follow to "install" this picture?

You have probably not "Imported" the picture into your image folder.
Open in FP
Select "Images" folder
Select File/Import
Browse to your image and click Save
Click OK
Right click your image in the web page
Select "Properties"
Click the Yellow folder at the top (Browse)
Select the image from your images file
Click OK or Save
Close properties box
Publish your site
It should now show properly
