i am new to FP but have a small web site up. Now i would like to add
our local cemetary records which are in an excel spreadsheet. About
1000 rows by 10 columns. What is the easiest way to import this data
into FP and also show grid lines for readability on page?

Any help would be appreciated.

Ron

You can save the spread sheet as a web page from within excel.

Or In Excel, select all cells - Edit Copy
Then in an FP page Edit Paste

Thanks for the response. Tried both ways.
Also tried using the spreadsheet component, then paste data into that.
Are any negatives in using the spreadsheet component feature vs. setting
up several pages made from parts of the spreadsheet? Would like to freeze
headings so users wouldn't have to be spreadsheet literate to use page.
Is that possible using the component or can that be carried in by doing it
spreadsheet before it is pasted in?

Thanks again

Ron

Depending on your audience (and whether they all have Excel or the OWC) Save as Web Page (Interactive) or just as .xls Spreadsheet
