Should be a quick and easy question....

I thought today I would sit down and learn about iframes. Found a
nice webpage and pulled the source code into FP2000 and got the
alternate message from the source code saying this browser doesn't
support iframes. That led me to believe FP2000 doesn't support them.
Did I assume correctly and if so, can I expect FP2003 to support them?

Thanks,
Kris

Kris,

Both versions of FrontPage can be use to create IFrames (actually all
version can). The issue is whether your browser supports displaying them.
You should be using IE 5 or if you want to see them correctly.

Dave,

Thanks for the info.

I can view iframes online just fine with my IE 6.0. When I was unable
to view them within FP2000, I thought they weren't supported with that
version. Also, a quick search of the Help in FP2000 for "iframes"
came up empty.

But, you are saying the web page source of an iframes page I grabbed
today should have viewed correctly in FP2000?

No. The Preview mode in FP doesn't always work right. You need to do
Preview in Browser.

Would this be true in FP2003 as well? I'm trying to justify buying it
and so far have been unable to.

The preview mode in FP2003 does appear to work better but I would still
recommend using Preview in Browser.
