    - DWT Inheritence I was trying to work out if you could derive one template from another. Here's why. I have a site template which I have the company logo and menu's in etc. This all work fine. I also have a requirement to extend this to include a table which will include information relating to courses being run. I wanted to design the course template based on the site template so that if the site template changes it is also reflected in the course template. I did an experiement, I create this scenario where one template ( the sub template ) has the site template applied to it. However, when you change the site template it gives no warning that there are pages dependent on it and does not make any changes to the template which is based upon it. Am I missing something here, or is there another way to acheive this.     - Newbie stuck on 1st base - please help Hi, I've developed my web site using FP2003 from my xp workstation, it's a very simple web site containing maybe a dozen hyperlinks to files which exist in folders in the xp box. I want to upload the web site to a Win2K server which also sits on my desk at work - but I want to have the files exist on the server not the xp box. I can get the web site working mostly but when I click on the hyperlinks there is no download offered, the win2k server can't work out where the files are coming from. I found out that HTML files composed by Word 2003 (with HTML extension) can only opened by Word 2003, that is even you tried to open it with FP 2003, Word 2003 would jump out to open it, and it is also true for vice versa, and that is HTML files composed by FP 2003 with be opened by FP 2003 only. Part of my document has a hyperlink pointing towards a Word document. When the hyperlink is slected it gives you the choice of 'open', 'save' or 'Cancel'. I have frontpage under program files, version 3.0. I have a help file, the
fpecommenu , answer wizard and the compiled HTML help file. I cannot expand
the help index entries to get the help I need nor can I open a window with
the program. I have Works Suite and cannot located the frontpage file on any
CD. What am I missing?

You are missing FrontPage. The folder and V3.0 files in Program Files are
part of the operating system, and have nothing to do with FrontPage the web
editor.
FrontPage needs to be installed, either from an Office CD containing
FrontPage (and only a few old editions of Office do contain FP) or from the
stand-alone FrontPage CD.

You do not have Frontpage. The 3.0 files are not frontpage. You have
to purchase the program.
