    - Help making this page pretty =) Hi all, I'm working on a small html project and i would appreciate some suggestions on how to format this page to make it look nicer. I am new to html design but what i have is some heading info and two tables. I would appreciate any UI suggestions, thanks a bunch, oh and yes the data is faked so nobody will get upset =) My only constrains are that all the columns in the table line up on the decimal point (thus the same decimal precision right margin flushed) and the html report must fit on one page.     - forms good morning all... I am making a form for my company's website and I have a question. The form has a drop down menu with 107 choices (1 for each of our locations). Here is the trick, we would like to have the email sent out to someone different for each location. For Example - if a person wants to work at store number 40, the email would go to that store, or if they want to work at store 20 it goes there. After talking to a programmer here, he said it would be possible to do this using DHTML, is this true? And could you give me an example?     - FP 2000, Access 2000 & XP Pro Have installed, XP Pro IIS 5.1 Access 2000 FP 2000 Have created a server based web, imported a newly created database (and its connection) and tried creating a result page using FP's wizard. Initial results yielded column headings but no data. Investigated MS Knowledgebase and found a few related articles - i.e. 265323, 219159, 312638 - these solutions did not help. I used Windows Update and Office Update to update FP, Access and XP. After completing the updats, reviewing the result ASP page in the browser locked up the browser and FP without any results displayed. Repaired FP, same results. Unistalled and reinstalled IIS, FP and Access. Again, ended up with display of column headings but no data. When checking the connection status of the database under the DATABASE tab of the Web Settings, the database connection checks out OK. When I select MODIFY-OK, I get a question mark for the status. When I select VERIFY, the green check mark re-appears. Still, either I get column heads and no data, or the program freezes. For the last few years, I've been able to create the DB connection and results page flawlessly with FP2000 under Windows 98SE and PWS. What am I missing in XP? Thank you?     - Playing MIDI sounds on ALL pages I have been working on a webpage for the school I go to. I loaded in a MIDI to play when the Index page opens, but as soon as someone clicks on one of the bottons to go elseware on the site, the MIDI (of course) stops. When you click the back botton, it starts over. Can I set ip up so that all the links comming off the indax page open in a new window?     - image sliding? hey there im creating my website, and i would like to make a slide set of pics but i have no idea how to do this. lets say i got seven pics, one beside each other i would like to make a slide efect when the mouse is over so the images would be sliding (no swaping to the next one) how can i do that? i've seen it before....but i dont how if they used FP, Macromedia or any other...     - Help! How do I get keyword phrase on each page? Please help! I have my site up, but now I realize that I need to change my title or keywords for each page.     - asx generator? Is there an automatic .asx generator available? I just rebuilt our media server and all the wma's are there but I lost the asx's.     - search box problem I have successfully set up a search page that allows visitors to search a database. The problem is if a user inputs a search term such as "hat", results will appear. But if a user enters "hats" adding the "s", no records will be found. Is there a way that wildcards such as "*hat*" could be used to allow for slight variations so that something like "hats" would pull up similar result as does "hat"?     - Error reading file FP2002 When I click on the HTML tab for my home page(index.html)I get the following error: Error reading file. Cannot open "wpe1.tmp": no such file or folder. HTML view works on all the other pages. Web has been published for 6+ months without any problems. I copied source code from index.html from web server. created new page, pasted to HTML view. Page worked OK. Can view HTML without error. Renamed old index.html and renamed newly created page to index.html. I get the same error so it isn't in the page HTML. I have several other websites. I can open index.html in them (HTML tab)without any problems so FP must be OK. Has anyone had this problem? Any ideas on how to fix?     - FrontPage 2002 Fails to Start I am running Win 98 SE and FrontPage 2002. I just started getting the message that Frontpage 2002 will not start, do you want to send an error report. Then the offer to start in safe mode, but that fails, then the offer to detect and fix problems, that completes but Frontpage 2002 still will not start.     - text box Java Link I would like to make an entry text box on the shared left border of my site that allows my customers to enter in a specific code I give them. When they enter in the 6 digit code, they immediately go to the specific page that I made for them. Only by submitting the code can they see the information on the page I made for them. How do I make this text box and this button that will link to the page that I made for a specific code?     - buffer on one side only of picture Is there a way to say "leave a buffer of x amount on the right side of a picture" rather than "Leave a horizontal buffer of x amount on both sides of a picture"? I end up wasting so much space if, for instance, I want a picture in the left corner but a buffer on the right of the picture. Can't figure out how to avoid space on the left side too in that case.     - Format for AUTORUN.INF FrontPage 2002 - Windows XP Professional I wish to make a disk-based web to distribute on CD. How do I make an AUTORUN CD which holds my disk-based web and starts automatically under Internet Explorer when the CD is inserted? I've created a file called AUTORUN.INF which contains OPEN=INTRODUCTION.HTM (plus the Icon name; the Icon seems to work). (1) When I insert the CD it blinks a little and quits. (2) When I double-click the CD icon in My Computer Windows XP complains that INTRODUCTION.HTM is not a legitimate application. (3) When I explore the CD and double-click INTRODUCTION.HTM myself the disk-based web starts up and runs great. How do I get this to happen when I simply insert the CD? Thanks much for any help.     - 2 probs - DHTML & shared borders My stats - FP 2000, Earthlink hosting w/ FP server extensions installed www.stevegibb.com, viewing on IE 5.5 My two problems: 1- I have DHTML FX programmed onto pictures of the homepage. I did one several months ago & that one works. Others I added today in the same manner & they do not work. How can I fix? 2 - I have shared borders (bottom) selected and written for all pages. They show up in Normal and Preview of FP, but do not show on the published pages. I have tried recalculating hyperlinks and republishing as suggested by others, but they still are not there.     - Stalls during Insert Hyperlink Hi, FYI: FrontPage 2002 on a new Windows pc running XP. Recently I've started getting a FrontPage Not Responding message when I try to copy a url into the Insert Hyperlink box. It happens about 50% of the time. I get an hour-glass that won't go away. I need to either restart my computer or occasionally shut off my computer to be able to access FP again. It happens on three different computers using different copies of FrontPage 2002 software. My ISP reinstalled the FP Extensions but the problem remains. I've used FP since 1998 and have never had this problem before.     - How do I put Access 2000 reports onto a web site I have a database with complex reports (graphs, boxes and lines, subforms, etc) which users want to run, convert into something usable on the web and put on a web site. Hi Jim,

Are the new images being imported or edit from with in FP. If not, then
you'll need to do a Tools | Recalc Hyperlinks prior to the publish.

Look at the image properties for one of the bad images.
You may well find that it's an absolute hyperlink not a
relative one. You will have to change those links. The
hyperlinks report can help you automate the repair.
