    - FrontPage web component -hover buttons I would appreciate any help, I am out of Ideas. After a recient crash, on a clean harddrive, with windows xp pro. I re-installed my programs and my Front Page 2002 - Now using FP I cannot see any web componet buttons on any web page that I am working on. I have tried to re-do the buttons, thinking a thread of problem carried through on the existing web but the resutls is the same. I have tried creating a new one page web with new hover buttons and the results are the same. The Show on the "normal" page and the HTML code is there - obviously missing something? When I preview the button frames show but the graphic and links fail to work with the Control/click. When I publish it produces the same effect on my web.     - FP2003 Database Results with trimmings... I hope that whoever reads this can understand what I 'm trying to ask. I'm using the Database Results wizard, but am adapting it for my own particular application.     - Installation help from Microsoft Just how frustrating can Microsoft be? I want to install my Frontpage 2000 upgrade which was installed on a previous machine. Never on this one. Naturally, it won't install because it doesn't see any qualifying product on my hard disk. The obvious solution is to either buy a new Frontpage or try Microsoft's web sit to get online help. Would you believe that the online maze demands product ID before proceeding to the contact stage.     - Removal of Background I started out with an ivory background. I then added a marble image background which looks great on my computer. When I upload this to my site it shows the ivory background. I've tried everything I can think of to fix this problem but to no avail. The ivory was not an image but the marble is.     - unable to delete file Hi: I am trying to delte a file that was copied from the web into a Frontpage website. I am trying to delete it using Windows Explorer and Frontpage but I can't get rid of it. It was associated originally with an Amazon.com web component (their honor system tipping area for blogs). This created a jpg file. When I try to delete it, windows says "windows can not find the file." However, I can see it there and can't kill it. It's screwing up the republishing of my web because Frontpage trips over the file. I also can not even delete the folder it is in.     - Publishing Server Error I'm getting a strange error when I try to publish my website: It says the page in question "has been modified by (unknown) on 31 Dec 1969" - when I try to delete the file. It makes the same error with another file. This seems to happen only when I don't publish pages for a few months.     - animated gif display problem I have a FP 2000 web site. I added a small animated gif which displays fine when I preview it but when I publish the web.. nothing is there.     - database question first i want to say thanks for answering my questions when i post them u guys are great!! heres the question... i made a form page and sent results to a fp database which i created through the wizard. it spit back the name new_page_4.mdb and put it in the fpdb folder. When i try to open it access starts to load, then i get this error: "Unrecognized database format C:\Documents and settings\Owner\MyDocuments/WeAreColumbia\fpdb\new_page_4.mdb I have access 97 installed.     - Deleting files with ASP Hi, I am using FP 2000 on IIS4/NT. I have an asp script that creates some files from a database. It writes from a private subfolder ( _folder) to a subfolder of the private subfolder ( _folder/folder). It will work once, but once the files are in there, I can't run the script again and overwrite them. I get a "permission denied" error. If I go in and manually delete the files, it will work again. Neither the programmer or my ISP can figure out what is wrong. The only other thing I can think of is a FrontPage quirk. Does anyone have any ideas on this?     - Buttons I am using FP2003 and it has some fairly nice buttons, LOL, but I can make better, which is not the problem to add to Buttons folder. I am having a big problem with fp putting in extra spaces
&NBSP; each time i save a apage. i have a input box along
with some text in a table cell and it keeps putting in
extar garbage like the spaces each time i save the page,
so within 30 mins, i have about 30 of them on the same
line.
anybody have this problem,
