If you display email addresses, even those that are retrieved from a DB, a web worm can go in and get them, and BAM mass spam email.     - Converting HTML to CSS I have a page designed in FrontPage. I want to use it as a template to design all the other pages in the web site. I also would like to be able to use that template as a master page, so when I make changes the format of that page all the other pages in my web will follow suit.     - Front Page Data base result content not shown for some web pages HI All, We are porting FrontPage 98 applications with database access via Access 97, and hosted on NT4.0, worked great for several years. Web pages will display data results searching the access data base a the IIS sever. We edit the application on Front PAge 2003, and ported the DB to Access 2003, and publish to Windows 2003 svr IIS6, running ASP. We did not update the Database results, and run them as it is. many web pages worked fine, will show the result of the DB serach. However, they are also 1/3 of the pages will not show the content of the data. It does show the table. something is not right. Microsoft KB seems to suggest moving to ASP.NET which will change all the pages, at least the fileextension.     - Text box validation I have a page which contains a number of input fields and drop down boxes, the page works OK. I'm trying to add some validation to the page and also enable the automatic population of fields on the same page dependant on what the user types. The main field utilises ASP to obtain a list of values from a database and present it in a drop-down list, this works but if a value is selected I am unable to trap the value and perform an action, i.e. to get an IF statement to work. My example is, the user selects a group from the drop-down list, I would then like the page to interrogate the selected value and automatically input values into other fields on the form.     - FP Font size problem I maintain a website that is PHP based, I use Frontpage to layout the page then cut n paste the modification in the PHP for web viewing. The constant problem that irritates me is that whenever I change a word or a letter it never shows up the correct size. I don't know enough about codes to recognize the problem. The site that I maintain is for a Youth Football League and since we are all volunteers people come and people go, so when I update names and dates I never change the complete word all the time maybe change 2004 to 2005 and by just changing the 5, it will appear smaller then what was previously there. I have a page with 3 frames top frame- a header with my banner, FP made Navbar , and a created link list that selects months to appear in the second frame middle frame lets individual dates be selected from the calendar month displayed, and show the individual events for that date in the third frame. my 1st need, if the month is changed, to blank out the third frame (something like on pageload may.htm- clear frame bottom?) my 2nd need, is to get the navbar in the header.. My site is entirely based around this system, though I am not sure it fits the description of 'dynamic' I was reading about. Hi All, My site, http://www.essexchurches.info uses, as its home page, a piece of JavaScript, which determines the client's screen resolution, and thereby selects one of two starting pages - 800x600 or 1024x768+. I've discovered that this piece of trickery seems to thwart Google's attempts to drill down into my site, so I need another way to do this. My homepage, (index page) www.VirginiasBestKeptSecret.com, uses a top border, side border, and a bottom border which cascades across most of the website However, the (bottom border) no longer will publish correctly (site wide), this applies even when I only use the off line review option, as well. If all of this was not strange enough, when I try and publish a given page, all hell lets loose, as the body of the webpage will now be mirrored where the bottom border use to be, but in a messed up fashion.     - ASP SQL and drop-down menus updated by user selection I have a form with 3 drop down menus that I am concerned with: Size, Packaging, and Cost. In a nut shell, I need to have the values in the Size and Packaging fields passed in a query to a sql table and return a Cost value. Details: Size and Packaging pull their info from a Size and a Packaging table respectively, on a SQL2000 server. I need the third field, "Cost", to take the values selected by the user in the Size and Packaging fields, and use those values to query a third table "Cost." The Cost Table has three fields: Size, Packaging, and Cost (The cost field is always different depending on the Size and Packaging chosen). I have created a server side procedure: Create Procedure getmycost @size int, @packaging varchar(50), @cost money OUT AS Select @cost=Cost From Cost Where Size = @size AND Packaging = @packaging I have placed the this code on the client side within the "Cost" field using the Data Results Wizard: declare @size int, @packaging varchar(50), @cost money set @size=::Size:: set @packaging=::Packaging:: Execute getmynumber @size,@packaging,@cost OUT select @cost It does not appear to be doing anything. What I think what I need now is a way to have the "Cost" field update after the "Size" and the "Packaging" fields have been updated by the user. He believes that even less then average will do. However because I am looking to branch off on my own within the very near future, I would like this site to contain at least SOME interesting features. Now that folder has a blue globe or dot looking thing in it. Think it has something to do with FP extensions or something. But I do not want this.
