There are hosting services that have been started to host the
promotion and sales of independent works but you'll have
to seek them out via Google as I know of none that come to mind
but I do know they are out there. Some 'names' in the publishing
industry tried this type of hosting but most have been discontinued.
I think the presence of eBay is too much to compete with and eBay
is where I suggest you get started with a hosted service.
