    - Database results wizard query Hi, I'm using the database result wizard to extract information from a Access database. The wizard allows you to enter critera at the top ASP page once it's created it. If I create a separate HTML page as a 'critera entry' page, how do I pass the information from the HTML page to the ASP AND then pass it into 'webbot' that runs the SQL statement ? In the HTML page, I call the ASP with the following command: List.asp?PR=Rooms=2 The ASP page, get the data passed with the following bit of script: <%session.LCID = 2057 Room_No=request.querystring("Rooms") %> In the webbot command, I have the following SQL statment in the s-sql field: s-sql="SELECT * FROM SOL_Voidlist WHERE (Rooms=' & Room_No & ')" If I this, it seems that the webbot command complete ignores the value in the Room_No field. If I amend the SELECT statement and type the value directly, it works OK ! Can anyone let me know what I'm doing wrong and why webbot ignores extrnal values held within a field ?     - Help with FormMail My feedback form worked great until I had to move my whole site into its own subweb to add a second one using the same domain. Now FormMail won't work. It sends me the results, but won't redirect the user. (at least is was sending me the results.. I'm not so sure now). I've tried putting a cgi-bin folder with FormMail in the same directory that I moved the site to and where the html forms are, but that didn't work. I'm thinking that the problem is simply that I haven't told FormMail its new path, but I can't locate anyplace to do that. I believe I've used the #Redirect syntax correctly. I copied it, added it under the #Redirect line and changed the web address to the location of the "thanks" form. Any help would be appreciated.     - Form messes up table width? This simple WEB has a Nav bar on the left. All the pages work OK except for one which has a FORM on it.     - Editing Database Results Error Messages The error messages are pretty vague for errors in database results pages. Is it possible to replace these messages with one of my own design? For example, if someone attempts to enter data in a form without creating their own UserID, then they get this message: "Error Description: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] You cannot add or change a record because a related record is required in table 'UserIDs'."     - Custom Control for FP 2003 Hello FrontPage Newsgroup, I would like to make a "custom" control to use on a FrontPage generated ASP page (perhaps it could be called a DTC). My concept seems simple: it will have two drop downs, one populated from a table in a database, and the other populated from a date (2 dates, today and tomorrow), and a text entry field for the time of day, and a button to submit the data. My asp page will have 3 of these "control", I thought rather than place a bunch of ddwns, and text boxes on the page, I would make 1 or 2 "controls" that would be usable else where. Does this make sense? What tool should/can I use to do this. I wish I could develop this page using ASP.NET, but the page needs to support an existing all ASP web site. Any suggestions will help.     - Has anyone used Form Processor Pro from MitriDAT? Has anyone tried this software? For servers without ASP (but offering PHP), this software is advertised as capturing form post data and routing it to email and/or db (mySQL, csv) without the need to create custom PHP scripts. If it works as advertised, it would be well worth the $29 cost for me. However, I'm hesitant to try it without hearing an independent evaluation.     - Help writing a macro One of the things I have to do repeatedly is to reformat text in a manner that is more appropriate to code. I'd like to automate the process in a macro but I am having a little trouble figuring out how to do it. Here's the sequence of events I'd like to accomplish: Search forward for a new line. Select the new line characters. Replace the new line with a carriage return. Assert a shading of light gray. Assign a font of Courier New, 12 pt to the paragraph. In Word, this was dead simple and I thought I could just copy the macro over to FrontPage. However, that didn't work because the FrontPage VBA didn't recognize all of the Word VBA objects. This is the macro from Word that replaces the carriage return with a new line. It fails in FrontPage.     - Problem with SQL-Server Constraints and Frontpage I am using a Frontpage Applikation to Save a form to a SQL-database. That works so far. My database has a foreign key constraint on the table where th form inserts its Data. An if the inserted data conflicts with that constraint it does not get inserted. So far just as it should bee. The only problem is, that even in the case the insert fails, because of the constraint, my application goes to the success URL and not to the fail URL, as I would expect.     - database and email forms results with DRW Dear Mr Buyens: I am repeating my enquiry here in case my question/submission as part of the "Aug/12 Dave" ADM thread fails to raise an issue. Dear Mr. Buyens Have tried the code suggested herein (as indicated in another part of this thread), but I cant get the filed values to pass in the email, since I donâ??t know how to "intercept" the "on submit" action of the DRW webbot. I have purchased a copy of your FP03 Inside/Out book in the hopes that it would reveal how to do this ... but no joy. I include a copy of my situation from the other thread here: ------ copy ---------- I am trying to do something similar (results to both mdb and email). The interlacken code had to be modified since my ISP doesn't support CDO's, and so re-wrote it for ASPMail, and I've had to remove the "IF" construct (possible for relating to my speculation below) However, the email sends "blank field values". In my case the form/db etc are created using FP03's DRW etc. I am not sure if the webbot/onsubmit script etc is somehow intercepting the field values (including the submit button) and preventing that data to be available (e.g. not only is does the email not include the data, but also the IF construct fails since there appears to be no value in the button variable). I have tried various permutation of the email code on the form page, as well as on the confirmation page. In all cases, the best result is that an email is issued (whether or not the submit button is pressed), and the field values are null.     - IIS6 Nortbots error I'm trying to move a web site from a Win2K server to a Win2K3 server. I use FP2K to publish to both servers.     - force a cell to contain a fixed number of rows I've got the original FPX (I think) that comes with Win98 (ver. 2.0.2.1118). Is there any way to force a cell to contain a fixed number of rows?     - Frontpage E-Mail Message Header subject line When using Front Page to compile an on-line form for e-mail submission, is it possible to define the email subject header with predefined text and text from one of the from fields. For example, i'm aware you can choose the predifed text by placing this with-in FORM PROPERTIES then OPTIONS and EMAIL RESULTS then placing hte predefined text with-in the e-mail message header subject line, or ticking the Form Field Name and then placing the Field name in the box instead, but is it possible to use a combination of both.     - Include Statement I have been using the include function for awhile now, and it is great... BUT yesterday we moved to a new server which is an Apachie (SP) now none nothing works... I have tried  and it does not pick it up. The only way I have been able to make it works is to move the include file to the main directory.     - Incorporating theme and ASP Hello, Using FrontPage 2000, I started building a web site with a theme (I went through the wizard originally). Using the wizard gave me a specific set of pages. Navigation screen shows the hierarchy of these pages. Now, I would like to replace Default.htm (which was created by the wizard) with Default.asp so that I can use ASP code. I'm finding that FrontPage is not letting me replace Default.htm with Default.asp and still retain the same hierarchy. I have developed a few web pages and have noticed that when previewed in
Front page 2003 the page displays the gif (picture) as well as the link but
after uploading to the hard drive and viewed on the net the picture does not
show yet others which are handled in the same way do? Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

When viewing the published site in the browser, right click on a space where the image "should be"
( there should be a red x image place holder in it's place ) and then select properties.
If the path to the image starts with file/// instead of http:// the image was not imported into
your web before being linked to.

Import it, remove the old link from the page, reinsert the image, save and publish.
