Hello,
I have 23MB wave file embedded in the page.
When clicking Preview it plays OK, but when posted on server it does not
play at all!.
The path pointing to the wave file location is correct.
What can be a problem?
Jack

Did you give it enough time to download?
If it isn't streamed, the entire file has to download before it will play.

Thank you. You are right.
How to stream file? Can you give me some pointers, please?
Jack

Check with your host and see if they support "streaming media."

Most likely everytything is working perfectly fine
-BUT-
you need to wait for that 23MB download to finish before the music will
start.

Options
-I would recommend encoding that wave file to something a little more
compact, such as an MP3 or WMA file. Using one of these formats will reduce
the file size by 90% if not better. Play with the settings, you can probably
get satisfactory sound in a package less than 1MB which will take much less
time to render

-Another option which has already beem suggested is for streaming audio.
Most likely this will cost you an additional amount, as this is not part of
normal 'web services'. I don't tjhink this is really worth it, as for me it
would cost more to do the streaming than it would for the rest of my sites
conbined
