For years I have had a form at a hosting service that updated a
database. For those same years I have been away from FrontPage.
Now the page/form does not work and the service says it is my
problem..... love it.

I cannot figure out where the problem is in my own form and need to
build a new one .

From another form a hyperlink passes one Parameter (a unique record
number) to this form, the record contents are displayed, changes are
made to the fields and the User clicks on the "Update" button.

I was I guess smarter then, so where do I start looking now?

Not enough information to provide an answer about whether you were
smarter then or now.

And not enough information to provide an answer to your problem?
