    - getting started I feel really dumb. I've taken several FP classes but have just used my knowledge (so to speak) to maintain our present website. Now I need to redesign the site from scratch. Our current site was imported from NetObjects Fusion into FP; the navigation & banner as being viewed as graphics and not a structure recognized by FP. So I am now unable to use any of that structure in a new design. Where do I begin? For starters, I don't want to use the pre-designed themes, but would like to design something more unique to our situation. Can I do that? I don't have Paintshop or Photoshop, but have Pagemaker and Publisher. Do I need to format the banner in one of those programs and save it somehow so I can import into FP? I could use a navigation structure from the template, but think it would be better to create a different color scheme than what is available. Can I do that? What kind of measurements do I use for the banner & buttons? And then once I get the basic index page structure organized, I suppose I'll need to cut & paste from the old site? I've got my instructional manuals, and FP 2003 For Dummies book, so I have some resources. I just can't seem to get started. I have lots of questions -- HELP!     - Need a form created I want to hire someone to build a form for me. website is http://www.iampeth.com I created the pages using FP as the html editor, but I didn't publish through Frontpage, nor did I use FP to "build" the website. The web host 1and1.com does offer Frontpage extensions. I don't have them turned on at the moment but its simple to do.     - Included Content I'm really a novice at FP and I'm probably using the wrong fature. I am trying to use the Included Content/Page concept to provide updates to a particular web page. The page is an Agenda of the next monthly meeting. I was trying to use the Included content feature where an Admin Assistant would create the agenda in MS word, save it as a htm and FTP it to the folder where the previous agenda was. So now the new Agenda would be available. Problem is that when the next visitor to the site clicks this page the last month's Agenda still displays. It seems that I have to repost the webpage to reference the new data. Is this right or am i doing something wrong? If this is the way FP works then is there another method to have an Admin Assistant simply FTP data to the site and the web page pick up the changes?     - Database Criteria Returning No Records. I have an active server page that is supposed to get results from a previous page. When I don't specify any database criteria, the entire list of what I am looking for is returned. I expected this as I did not specify anything.     - frontpage confirmation same window I've seen this issue posted in a couple other places and was unable to find the answer myself. It's an issue that has been driving me nuts for years and I just solved it. I could never figure out why some of my forms would open the confirmation page in a separate window while others opened it in the same window. Here's the simple scoop: if your form is an include on another page, the confirmation will open in a new window. If your form is not an include, it will open the confirmation on the same page. I hope this thread shows up in a Google search for someone in the future. I could have used it myself a few times.     - Need help finding information in my Web site I recently took over the IT position at a church, and one of the big things they need done is to keep the Web page updated.     - Forms not working with a new subsite format Hello I used to have a single hosting account for each of my websites. I had forms on those sites and they all worked fine as far as inputting the information and all information went directly to an email account. I have since re-configured all my sites under a main site and my sites are all subsites - it seems the problem with the email forms lies somewhere in this new arrangment. After filling in the form and when the end-user hits "submit" nothing happens. I would think the forms would still work as the info was going to an email account rather than a database.... THE PROBLEM: Some of the recipients complain that it is larger than their screen and they are forced to scroll horizontally to read a line.     - Download without privelages My users run my Windows application and run FTP protocol to upload some executable (some other excitable) to my site. On other occasion they use IE browser to download the executable (that was earlier uploaded ).     - Events View Filtering Phenomena I am using WSS 2.0 and FrontPage 2003. I have to create a weekly E-Newsletter page. There would be one webpart page per week. All would be stored in a document library. Part of the E-Newsletter displays info from the Events List for that week. I have done two varities of aspx pages; one with the Events webpart placed on the page, the other using a DataView. In both cases, the web part is filtered by the Event's Begin field. I have noticed that the ../Events/AllItems.aspx page has a million 'Events' views under the 'Select a View' section. It appears the WSS or FrontPage creates a new Events view for each aspx page. Is there anyway to get around this? Is there a non-visible webpart that could be put on each page that could be set to a date and then used to feed the Events webpart as a parameter? Or is there some code (CAML?) that could be inserted into each page that would feed a date parameter to the filter condition? This is a pain!!! Thanx in advance!     - Design so Ad Blocker not block valid content I recently created a FrontPage site with a professionally designed template. Looks great, but a friend with 'Ad Blocker' software (in Norton Internet Security 2006) cannot see my site properly unless he turns off 'Ad Blocker'. I don't actually have any advertisements on this site. It appears that the ad blocker is seeing some of the software as advertisements. In particular, I have some JavaScript and a dynamically generated navigation panel. The navigation panel does not appear at all if 'Ad Blocker' is on. Consequently, I would like to change my design so that 'Ad Blocker' does not block it. I know that there are a number of blockers out there and presumably they work in different ways. However, as more and more people get 'Ad Blocker' software, I can see that this would be a growing issue with people seeing my site. Are there some general coding guidelines to avoid this problem? I have several forms on my website that visitors complete so that I
can provide the information and determine the scope of the project.
The problem is this:

I no longer receive emails when visitors complete and submit the
forms.

I am using Frontage 2002.

I checked the form properties and my email address is correct on all
my forms.

I spoke with my ISP (Valueweb.com) to determine if there was a problem
and they recalculated by website to see if that would take care of the
problem. This did not solve the problem. My ISP asked me to upload
my forms again.

I took the forms off my website then uploaded them again. This did
not solve the problem.

QUESTION: Is anybody aware of a similar problem for users with
Frontpage 2002?

Any way to solve this problem?

Have you host check the forms to email transport to make sure it's still enabled.
