    - Forms submittal to create XML file I am working with Frontpage 2000 and wondering if the form processor will give me a method of saving as an XML file. Does not seem to be straighforward, even though I can imagine using the custom ASP script option as a way to 'handle' the form and parse it into the XML I need.     - onsubmit Hi, Is it possiable to control the onsubmit function in VBScript? For example, I have a form with only one check box. I like to verify the check box on checked before to send the email out. If the check box do not check, display the message to user. The verify function will like following: Java Script function ValidateForm(chkbx) { if(chkbx.checked == true) { return true } else { window.alert("Please check on the check box."); return false; } } Then I can use the onsubmit="return ValidateContactForm();" to make it work (The email send out or not is controled by function return false or true).     - Hyperlink to a specific graphic on a different page On page 1 I have a graphic (bmp) listing places to visit on page 2. Page 2 contains 4 layers each which have a table inside. The top cell of each table is a graphic (bmp) that has the shows the topic of that particular table. How do I hotspot/hyperlink from the graphic on page 1 to a specific graphic on page 2?     - Hyperlinks don't work after publishing. I'm new to FrontPage and Web stuff in general. I've noticed about 1,000 people have just repeated posts for help with things like "How to get rid of underlining on hyperlinks." I can actually do a lot of that stuff because I've worked hard at reading up all I could about FrontPage and hyperlinks and such. SO, if I repeat this question, it certainly isn't my intention. Without furter ado... I cannot make any links work, whether external or even linking pages within my site. I can go in between pages when I'm in Design view, by CTRL+mouse click.     - Nav bars dont display properly The style of the Nav bar doesn't show up on the sever, no matter what I do, it shows up as [ Subject ] [Subject] ex..     - Link keyboard shortcut to macro Hi, I've create a macro that encodes all special characters as HTML entities, and I want it to run every time the user saves the document. I can link to the macro on the toolbar and the File -> Save command under the File menu, but I want the macro to fire when the user hits Ctrl-S as well to ensure the macro runs.     - Database Interface Wizard I'm trying to use the Database Interface Wizard but as soon as the first window "create the web site "http:://<--nohost-->/mysite", I get the following error.     - Detecting the proper reply email address in a form I've have a bit of experience with forms, but now that I want to use an autoresponder with my new form I'm having a bit of a problem. The autoresponder is detecting the webhost server address instead of the subscriber's email address in the form. What do I change where to correct this? Side note: when I save the form I get a message that says the form won't email the results, but I know it will, so I click the ignore button and save anyway. With all my other forms I've gotten the form result in an email, though I wonder since I'm wanting the results to be read by an autoresponder I'm doing something entirely wrong.     - Adding Windows Username to a Database Hello, I am trying to add the Windows login / Username to a database while using forms. The users are using Windows XP, the webserver is on Windows Server 2003. Now, because of the quantity of users, the website policy is anonymous. This means that users do not login to the website. But they DO login to the computer. I know there is a possibility to add the OS username to a database while using the string %USERNAME%, unfortunately for me, it was quite unsuccessful.     - Frontpage seems to be slow I am teaching myself how to develop a website with Frontpage using the tutorials and have built a website at www.sollert.com/Beta I used the display tables to place cells at the appropriate places on the page and inserted the buttons and jpegs into the cells I have noticed that on downloading with IE , the various buttons load slowly enough to see the placeholders before the image drops onto them. I have some pages that contain DRW Result and want to organize it by putting it together in folder 'member', but when I put DRW result pages in to member folder, this message error occur: Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0131' Disallowed Parent Path /logon/post.asp, line 490 The Include file '../_fpclass/fpdbform.inc' cannot contain '..' to indicate the parent directory. I upgraded to FP 2003 and now when I create a page with links and click on one, it opens in a separate window. BAD!! What I have are many thumbnails that link to a separate framed photo with a "back" button so as to stay on the same thumbnail page and go back & forth between thumbnails and their respective framed photo. I also have pages that have several links to other pages in the same site and I would also like for these to all open in the same window.     - second page I had to quit construction on my website and after 6 months I am not sure how I got the second page of information to connect with the first. I have copied a portion of one of the pages and it follows. Does this tell anyone anything that might be of help to me? or do I need to include the HTML from the second page? I was told by our hosting company that it is possible to do so with some aspupload code, but they did not elaborate in further details. What I wish to accomplish is to use a method to transfer large files from our suppliers to us. Currently, we are using e-mails which is not a good approach, but our suppliers do not wish to install and use any FTP client software, so we're looking for an alternative way. Trying to update my website having added another picture on one of the
pages. When I try to Publish Web I get the following Frontpage message:-

Server error: Cannot open file ".floor_tiling.htm.tmp" for writing.

I can't find a way round this problem and would appreciate any advice.
