    - Why is my Form Page Wizard Missing? I have added a form to a web page in FrontPage 2003. When I click on Form properties the Send to is greyed out. So I tried to make a form on a completely new page following Microsoft instructions: New page, more templates... But the Form Page Wizard template is not under the general tab.     - where can i find a frontpage 2003 dynamic template example I just installed Frontpage 2003 as i was told this was the program best and easiest to use for what i want for my website. Right now i have a number of pages with individual articles - and a linkbar to each. However I post new articles for this site all the time and i was told frontpage could help. The closest i have come to finding something that may help me is something called a dynamic template. My link bars are getting very lengthy and updating each time i create a new article is a pain. Using a dynamic template means i can simply create a new article and linkbar and upload and my new linkbar and the article and linkbar will then appear on every article page. Is this correct? Next question: How do i go about setting up a dynamic template? Please don't direct me to MSNs explaination, because i simply do not understand it. AND, i don't have my site set up as a dynamic template right now and need to find out how to do that as well. Does anyone know of any tutorials that actually show how to set up this template?     - Getting .html files to come up while in FP Whether on the net or offline, I can not get .html files to come up when in FP. The Word and jpg files come up okay. By mistake, I (a rookie) must have hit the wrong key or setup. In the past, I have been only able to get rid of this situation is to put FP on another computer or format the hard drive.     - Unlinked Files Report -- Possible Thread Duplication My apologies if I'm duplicating another thread, but I'll be danged if I can find it. In another recent thread somebody was as advised to Recalculate Hyperlinks, then view the Unlinked Files report and delete them. Well, recalculated hyperlinks, but the unlinked files reports shows many files that do not have a zero in the "Links to" or "Links from" columns. This confuses me. Why would files that are linked show on the unlinked files report? I, too, would like to clean up the site but don't trust the report.     - What resolution do I create my page around? I have a very confusing problem which from what I hear takes a pro to figure out and it's something difficult to fix which is why you need a degree to build a webpage. First of all I'm trying to design all my pages to have a green background for the header with the company name/logo, then on the left side is the same green background with the hyperlinks. To the right will be each individual page with a white background. As you click on the hyperlink on the left, the middle will change accordingly. To do this, I'm using one big cell then using smaller ones inside of them. I learned this from you guys from a past messages. Now when I create the page in FrontPage, it looks one way. For purposes of discussion (and to make it easier to explain) the end of the hyperlink is under a certain part of the logo above. When I look at it through IE, the hyperlink is way past the logo. Why am I formatting it one way in FrontPage to have it look totally different (with the same resolution I used when creating it) through IE??? When I change resolutions, it moves it all around as well. My first question is: I thought the cells would take care of this and wouldn't allow things to "move around" on their own. So if I went to 800x600, it would look normal (if that's the resolution I created the page in), then 1200x1024 (or whatever the resolution is) it would look exactly the same, only everything within the cells I created would be all on the left while the remaining part of the screen is filled with blank area. My second question is: When I hold down ctrl and move the scroll on my mouse up/down, it changes the font size. Not thinking about this, I went to work today and looked up my webpage using 800x600 and found the hyperlink was beyond the border on the left cutting off part of the name. So now I have to worry about all the different resolutions and who has what font size??? Someone said I may be able to set something in FrontPage so everyone who looks at the webpage will all see the same thing regardless??? As in some check box that will allow it to be viewed as a default or something like that?? He wasn't sure himself,but thought it may have it. Any help would be appreciated.     - Database calculation I have a database that contains a table that lists vehicle type and mpg. I would like to create a form that has a drop down field from the database that lists the vehicle types. Also on the form other fields would be included like number of miles, number of days, price/gallon, etc. I would like to use the mpg found from the database when the user selects a certain vehicle and use this field to help calculate how much it would cost to rent a vehicle vs driving a personal vehicle. I have the formulas but don't know how to capture the mpg field from the database when the user selects the vehicle type. I know databases and I know FP, but I don't know the two together. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated or any reference to white papers would be helpful as well. I have created a form with a drop down list that selects from the database, but don't know how to get the mpg field. For instance, under the website project directory, there are a number of directories: _borders _derived _derived\_vti_cnf _fpclass ... and so on.     - can't get sdk plugin to work I am trying to add an sdk plug in to an existing ui plug in which works. In GetDriverInfos I added a SDKDriverInfo from the help example. I traced thru the setup of the plug in for Driver Info and both ui and sdk plugin info's worked the same. In the driver factory only LoadUIAddInDriver was called, not LoadSdkAddInDriver.     - How to eliminate confirmation page? I have a guest book that the viewer can enter their name and comments. I was able the first time around to eliminate the "confirmation page" from appearing.     - Why use so many frames I'm trying to work on a website and in the process I'm saving a few sites from the internet and opening them in FrontPage to get ideas. My question is, why do they use frames within frames? When I create a 2x2 frame or whatever, the borders are thicker also. I know how to reduce the border thickness so it looks like dotted lines when it's being edited. But I don't understand why they make the borders so thin (dotted lines). you can't see them when you're viewing the webpage and why do they use a frames within frames and also if they want a blank area, they use an entire empty frame for it.     - LinkBar display fails in design I'm using FP 2003 and when working in design mode my LinkBars (left border from Nav Struct) fails to display but the production site is perfect. I always see the following in design mode: 'Edit the properties for this link bar to display hyperlinks here' This use to work and one day just stopped.     - MySQL & FP My hosting provider offers ten MySQL databases per account, but only one SQL db. I've never done much with databases in websites, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to need to do so for a new site. Since I have so many MySQL databases at my disposal it seems I might want to work with them if possible. In searching the web I can't find much on whether MySQL and FP will play well together, so I'm guessing that perhaps they won't.     - Data View Web Part Hi, I am having a problem getting the Dataview Webpart to work in FP2003. I am connecting to a Windows 2003 Server running Windows SharePoint Services and MS SQL Server 2000 with SP3A installed. When I try to add an entry to the database connections catalog, I cannot get past this error message "Server Error: An error occurred while retrieving the list of databases from" I have searched the MS Knowledge Base and found one article that instructs to make a modification to the webconfig file for a proxy server.
