Regarding search engine optimization, does it make a difference where your
pages are located? My root directory contains "index.html", but all of the
subsequent web pages are located in the "documents" directory. Should I
move my most important pages to the root directory? Or will search engine
spiders find and index the pages regardless of their location.
I have fine tuned the <title>, <meta name="description" , keywords, etc for
each page.
Also, can you point me to a web site that focuses on best practices for
"SEO".
Thanks, Mark Flynn

No.

Keywords are not of much value.
