I have a .gif file with text overlay that will not publish
no matter what I try. I have already tried recalculating
hyperlinks, cleaning out my cache, and deleting the file
and re-adding it to the page. It either shows up
as "conflict" or "up-to-date" in the publish web dialog
box. Even if I select it and publish it, it remains broken
on the web site. Can someone help? I've been webmaster of
this site for a year and this is a new problem. Very
frustrated!!!

Thanks.

Have you imported the file into your FP web before using it, and saved the overlay (embedded file) in you web)
Provide a URL
