I've got an intranet to be set up at work
I've heard that you can only use forms if you publish to a server running 'frontpage server extensions', AND you must publish using http
The problem is, when I publish to the server it uses ftp. So the forms won't work - BUT I NEED THE FORMS TO WORK
" This is very confusing to me "
How do i publish it to my server using http

Please Hel

Simon

If it is an intranet the server (host machine) must have the FP Server Extensions installed under IIS, and you don't need to
publish - just open the server based web in FP
For more info see

So, I install the FPSE's, then just copy the intranet files that are on my hard drive onto the directory on the server
Then when I need to update the web, I just open the web ( from the server ) in FP

Sorry if i'm completely wrong, very very very early beginner

Thanks In Advanc

No (don't copy anything)
- you publish the disc based FP Web/Site to your server based FP site using the server name as the URL (depend on how your server is
set up)
- if you are opening the server based web in FP from the server machine itself it would be http://localhost/
