Hi
I have a frontpage 2003 created site that works great.
My problem is that I have a large sound file (5MB) that
is played after my main page is downloaded. What I need
is a message to inform the viewer that a file is been
downloaded and to wait for the filem, and I need the
meaasge to go away after the page with the file is
completely downloaded. Can someone tell how I can do this?
My sie which is a community website does not use .asp and
the solution needs to be on the client side. The hosting
company, of course, uses the frontpage extension.
Thanks

Put a BIG notice in text at the top of the page or use a JavaScript popup loaded from the HEAD section of your page to warn users

IMHO
I'd rethink the approach and perhaps provide a link to the 5MB sound file
I doubt even broadband user will wait for a 5MB sound file to open unless they have a true interest in it
