Hi. I maintain a web site for a real estate agency. The owner likes the
use of the Photo Gallery feature using the SLIDESHOW presentation.

We have used shared borders to have a site menu on the left border, agency
logo on top border of the pages.

With this layout, there appears to be no way to accomodate the view in a
800x600 monitor display setting so the page all fits on the monitor screen
without scrolling left/right - the owner's request. I can view the pages
fine when using my monitor display settings at 1024 x 768.

I have not been able to accomplish this task. Is there a way to specify
width of the Photo Gallery/Slideshow feature OR is there another way to
accomplish the same "look" of this layout in FrontPage and, if so, can you
please share the information?

Thank you for your time!

Take a look at JAlbum, a free photogallery program. Gives you more
flexibility (and reliablity), and highly skinnable. You can easily Import
albums created by it into FP.

http://www.jablum.net

FP's gallery is not very flexible, and a little flukey.

I have managed to create the album I want, but how do I put it in front Page
2003. Thank for any help you might give me. Sorry if this is a stupid
question but I'm learning.

You generated it to a folder outside of FP correct?
Yes.
Ok, once you are happy with it....
Open FP
Open Site
(this is on your local hd btw)
File | Import | Folder
browse to the folder that you outputted your JAlbum into and import the
entire folder

Once it's in FP you can even "tweak" it a little more...

I would not try to create navigation with FP on the album pages..I'm not say
it can't be done only I haven't done it myself...I just create one link back
to the rest of the site on the top page of the album nothing fancy but I
make it match the JAlbum links. Sometimes its a little tricky but it's
doable. Although some of the JAlbum skins can do this when generated by
editing some files, I find it easier to do it manually...and less confusing.

Did you test your album outside of FP first?

Do the JAlbum pages and images appear in your Folder List in FP?

You're not gonna insert it in a page, JAlbum creates the entire ball of wax.
After you import it into FP you need create a link to the albums index page
from another page in your web...and one back from the album to your web so
viewers can get back to your regular pages.
