    - Unable To Find My Written Words To Whom It may Concern, I used the corporate web page from FrontPage 2002, and when I wrote my wording under the heading of the section Our Mission, I went on to finish up the web page. When I previewed the entire page after finishing it, the only thing that shows up in the section heading called Our Mission is the heading Our Mission. This isn't the only heading that didn't show my wording, I only used the section called Our Mission as an example. I saved it after finishing each section, and I kept it as an unfinished task so I could continue working on my corporate project. Now some of the other section headings on the other pages were just fine and I could read my wording that I had typed in, however some of those sections were broken up sentences and paragraphs under preview instead of what you see under normal.     - recurring meetings I'm attempting to create a reservation page using FrontPage. I have a situation where some reservations are recurring. I'd like to have a feature whereby users can select recurring options and identify their meeting is weekly, bi-weekly, second tuesday of every month, etc. This is similar to the manner in which Outlook works for us right now. Unfortunately, we've required a password for each meeting so that the requester retains control. This means each recurring meeting needs it's own password.     - VRML I have files that i am trying to put onto a web page; they are VRML file types. I am trying to find a way to put them on the site so that when people visit the site the can just see the file and zoom in and pan and stuff like that.     - Automatically Generating Addresses I have a graphic intensive site, and it seems that the majority of time taken away when I update my site comes about when I have to add the address to the thumbnailed images (for instance---not actual addy---images/laughing.jpg...I have to manually add in the http://www.mysite.com in front of the images/laughing.jpg). Is there a way to get FrontPage to automatically generate the address? I have the FP2002...and I upload the site via FTP, and do not use FP extensions.     - Database lookup stops working when published I am accessing an Excel Spreadsheet via forms in an ASP page. When I publish to my own PC (I installed IIS and Frontapge Extensions) it works OK. The database connection is via a 'file' on the PC. When I publish it to the web (via a host service) it stops working. It just goes away, and doesn't return the results page. It is recognising the excel spreadsheet, because if I cancel it (after several minutes) it sometimes has one record from the database displayed. The web host company tells me it appears to work on their server locally, but not through the internet. They seem to think it has something to do with the DSN setting.     - Replace entire published web? How do I? I have a published web, and I've entirely recreated it. How do I replace the published one with the new one? If I simply "publish" the new web, won't that leave all the old (now unused) pages/files? Do I open the already published web through FrontPage, and delete everything?     - Form Creation I am trying to create a form within my website that will require a password to access a message board.     - problem publishing to the web Let me start by letting you know that I am using FrontPage 2000 with winXP. I am new to using FrontPage and creating web pages. I created a personal web page and I am having a problem publishing my site to the server. I have webspace available through my ISP, Cox cable. I followed the instructions given by FrontPage and by Cox's website (http://support.cox.net/custsup/personal_pages/instructions.shtml) and it appears that I was able to publish it no problem. Through Cox's website I am able to see that the files are indeed on their server. When I try to view my website though, http://members.cox.net/jamesclery/, I just get a screen with info on getting started, the same thing I got before I published it. Cox does support FrontPage and I have activated FrontPage server extensions. Also once I publish the pages I get a dialog box in FrontPage with a link to view my site. When I select the link, I am asked to log in and then I get a page with all of the files and folders that I published, but not a web page. The address is also listed as FTTP: (or ftp:) instead of http:. I have know idea what the problem could be and being inexperienced with creating and publishing WebPages I have no idea where to start troubleshooting. Cox's tech support for this is of no help at all. If anyone can help or point me in the right direction for troubleshooting I would appreciate it, maybe someone else who has a personal web page with Cox cable. Tag: Pagination Tag: 20970
