 - FP 03 - Backward Compatable? A year or so I created a simple theme-based site for a friend using Frontpage XP. She also has FP XP installed on her computer, and does minor updates from time to time. I recently upgraded to FP 2003, deleting my older program. If I make minor or major changes to the CONTENT of the site (that is, adding or moving a page, updating text on a page, etc.) with FP 03, but I don't change the theme -- will we both continue to be able to access the site? Or does FP 03 make "behind the scenes" changes that will make it difficult or impossible for her to make changes of her own? What happens of I publish a copy of the site to my hard drive and then republish it to another server? Will this process make changes that will effectively shut her out of the site?  - option buttons logic I am not too familiar with scripts but I wanted to see if i could get an example or some help on a new page of my website.  - Tables Float Property I am trying to place a Nav Section to the left of my web page. I can insert a Frame, but would rather create the section as part of my Home Page. I also need it below the Header. Just a colored square with links on it.  - Annoying Flicker What can I do to identify the cause and remove this annoying screen flicker I have when using FrontPage 2002? It only happens when using FrontPage, and no other programs.  - formatting e-mails sent by frontpage form I have a form implemented that sends some data to an e- mail address. Most of the fields are short text or radio button forms, but 2 of them are 4-line fields.  - Security Command is dimmed I recently reconfigured a computer and reloaded FrontPage 2000 onto this computer. Web files that are saved on my server will not open on this computer now.  - Multi-Screen Form? How do I build a multi-screen form in FP 2003? The goal is to present the site visitor with a fairly long series of questions, broken up into conveniently short screens. For example, Questions 1, 2, 3 and 4, then hit a button to continue to another screen with questions 5, 6, etc. With a standard "Submit" button at the bottom of each screen, of course, the form on that screen would be processed and sent, rather than advancing the user to the next screen.  - database problem using IIS V5 I have set up a simple form to add 2 names to an Access database. I'm using IIS on Windows XP pro. I've published my site to HTTP://localhost and everything appaers to work OK I even get a form confirmation page returned. However when I check the Access database (which is in the fpdb folder in C:\Inetpub|wwwroot) the inputted data does not appear in the appropriate fields. Any ideas what might be wrong ?  - Pictures on each page I am adding a picture to a page on my site. When I go to another page the same picture appears, but I want to put a different picture in that place. I can do this but the page reserves the space for the hidden class div and the user clicks the button to make it visble or nor visible. What I really want is for the page to expand to reveal the div if the user clicks the box is checked and contracts again if the box is unchecked again. Much neater.  - Updating MS Access Memo field via FPage asp I have a range of .asp pages developed in Frontpage which filter results of a query down to the one the user wishes to update. Everything works without error. However, when I look at the underlying Access db, all of the memo fields (some of which contained data) have been overwritten with the default value. All other fields: Dates, Boolean, Text & Numbers update correctly. There just appears to be an issue with the Memo fields. How do I know this to be true and factual? I am a StoreFront customer and neither I nor any merchant customers I involved with LaGarde's products has ever been notified of the need to update due to security flaws in the code. Only spam. Business Ethics? Bob LaGarde? Hardy Har Har. Are you prepared to possibly lose everything you have worked for and invested because Bob LaGarde would rather spam you than let you know his software has failed and should be updated? I've got a handful of similar first-hand experiences I could and would testify to after two and one half years of hanging in there and hoping Bob LaGarde would clean up his act not to mention the code. First-hand accounts of being victimized myself or being involved first-hand with merchant customers involved with LaGarde's products, the staff and other unscrupulous developers. It got so bad for me and others in fact that Bob LaGarde has banned me and other victims from posting to 'his' now censored newsgroup as he is fond of reminding 'violators' when issuing threats to sue when someone stands up to the lies, deceit and attempts to cheat and rip-off customers. So for now I'll keep it simple...  - How can I check for duplicates before submitting a form? I have a form that has places for the client to enter 20 different debts. I cannot have any duplicate entries.  - Form Field Issues - Need Help I have a site built in .asp. I just built a form field to have data sent to me via email and that page is an html page. Problem is, whenever someone enters in the required field content and clicks "submit", an authentication screen pops up and asks them for a user name and password (as if they are logging on to the "web" when first opened).
