If I don't plug inthe correct text; then an IE windows message box pops up saying waht the expected password entry should be. ?? Great aye !!!     - A question about graphics hyperlinks. I've scanned the NG, and can't seem to find an answer to my problem... Okay. I'm a semi-newbie with FrontPage, and I currently use FrontPage 2000, and I'm having a problem! I wanted to add a hyperlink to one of my pages (to another page,) and went to the page, itself, in mozilla, and saved the index.htm file that I wanted to append to, to a different file on my hard drive than the original folder containing all my web design files. When I opened it up to edit it in Front Page, all the image hyperlinks had been reverted back to the directory in which I saved the index.htm file. I did my revisions, and then saved it, uploaded it, then checked it out in mozilla. Apparantly, all the image hyperlinks had been linked to where FP saved it on my hard disk. (specifically, to the index_files sub-folder that was created by mozilla in the folder where I saved the page to my hard drive.) My question is this: Can I do a "mass change" on the url directory in which all my images are in, instead of having to go back through every image (about 30) and change the link?     - ASP bookmark woes I'm getting a little desperate here... I've built an .asp page using Frontpage 2003 that contains an alphabet list of hyperlinks that will (ideally) connect to bookmarks inside of a table containing a list of countries - one country per table cell. The problem I'm having is that the links jump down the page just fine from within the Frontpage preview window, but do not work when previewing in a browser (I.E. 6.0 in my case). I can convert the page to .html and the links work just fine - however I do have example pages on our corporate intranet that seem to be effectively using bookmarks with .asp pages, so it seems to be possible. I've compared the source code for these pages against the source for my page (as generated by Frontpage) and see no differences in syntax. I'm limited to .asp when designing pages for our intranet, so I can't simply change formats. I'm at the end of my rope - any suggestions would be very welcome.     - error msg computer disconnected from network I wanted to upload my web, ftp setting is fine, password is fine, but I get a pop up saying "the computer is disconnected from network". I called my server. Everything was working fine last week. Unchecked the firewall, server hasn't done anything to prevent me from uploading to my website. I don't know all the "terminology" to explain all this, and everything was working fine, so maybe something happened to prevent my server from recognizing my computer in uploading, or is there a glitch in Frontpage 2002 that caused this? I've even tried re-installing Frontpage and checking for errors. This error message is happening on all the webs that I work on, three to my server's host and one on another host. Please help!     - FP2003: Open Method on Web Object not leveraging UserName / Password parameters I'm working on a Visual Basic .NET application that leverages the FrontPage object model to pull information from two remote servers. When I make a call to the Open method on the Webs object, I pass in a valid username and password for the web. However, when the first real method against the resulting Web object is executed, the FrontPage window appears and prompts the user with the following message: "You do not have permission to do this operation. Ask your web site administrator to change your permissions and then try again, or log on with a user account that has this permission. To log on with a different user account click OK." The user account that is passed through the Open method does have sufficient permissions (Administrator rights), and if I re-enter the username and password in the dialog after clicking OK, it works just fine. I'd like to prevent this from popping up if at all possible.     - Database Results Page Linked to an access parameter query I am trying to create a queryable database results page. I have a parameter query set up in access. The query functions properly when i run it in access, i.e. it prompts me for parameters and returns the correct data based on those parameters. I have linked this query to the page using the Insert > Database > Result feature in frontpage. The link shows the correct fields and it automatically adds the parameter variables as query search criteria on the page. My problem is that it is not working. I have tried putting my test data in but i am still not getting any results and i keep getting this error: Database Results Erro The operation failed. One of my web sites was working perfectly I do not know if it is related, but I decided to use java to create a link on each page for a customized pop-up window for an online streaming radio feature on each page.     - Confirm using database results HELP I have a FP2002 web with an access 2002 database - A form page (.asp) submits to the database and takes users to an confirm.htm page - I have a meta refresh tag on this confirm.htm page between <head> and </head> which is supposed to refresh and redirect users to a .asp page where I use database results to display the form submission content plus some additional static info I've added to this page. However, one item that may measure 4" x 5" appears smaller than another that was originally 2" x 3". Is there a way to work around this? I guess the glitch in Front Page 2002 that eliminated any folder on my web from being designated (or able to be designated) as the homepage is something that cannot be fixed, huh?     - .asp queries fail As of about 2 months ago, queries on several frontpage .asp page changed... They now required that the argument from the sending page be included in the query results, or the query fails. i.e. "select last,first,sales from names where city = '::city::'" will fail unless it's written as: "select city,last,first,sales from names where city = '::city::'. Why did this happen, and how can I get around it? When I want to only show the last,first,sum(sales) in the result set, the query won't work. I'm forced to include city, then the results show total sales/city/name rather than sales/name. They have become case sensitive as well. I have 20+ queries that worked in the past, now most are inop.
