    - FP 2002 Link Bar Ever since I added a page to my web, all of the buttons, except the home button, have become black where the text should be. The link bar is from a stock theme.     - Sending Parameters from two hyperlinks to the same page Hello, I have created a complex DB Query on Frontpage 2000, that is bringing in two different types of records. On each returned record, along with the column results, I have created two hyperlinks. Clicking on one hyperlink sends certain information to the right frame (named update.asp), and clicking on the other hyperlink sends different pieces of information from the DB results to the right frame as well. The goal of this project is link the two different types of records together, in a one to one relationship. Ideally, I would like to click on the one hyperlink, sending it's specific information to the right frame, and then I would like to click on the hyperlink of an accompanying record of the database results to populate the other information, so that the right frame would have information from both records. Then once the form in the right frame is fully populated, I could submit the form, writing the information to a table. Everything works properly, except that each time I click on a hyperlink, it refreshes the right frame, so I am unable to have information from two separate hyperlinks present on the same page.     - Photo gallery error Good Morning, I hope someone can help me with this issue.....I have been using Frontpage 2002 for quite some time but I keep having the same problem. When I create a photogallery and initially add photos and captions....everything works great after I upload the site. But after I upload the site.......when I come back to use Frontpage and add more photos to the photogallery, it looks good when I "preview in browser".......but when the site is uploaded....the photogallery doesnt show up at and all I get is this text: [photogallery/photo27592/photogallery/photo27592/real.htm] All my other photogallerys on other pages are working, but I am afraid to add any more photos.....I don't want to get the same result.     - Erasing Shared Borders I've got a problem I haven't seen in two years of programming with Frontpage. On a specific web, whenever I try to make changes, the top/left/bottom shared borders are replaced with duplicates of the page. In other words the page body shows up in the top border, left border, page body, and bottom border of the page when viewed in a browser.     - Front Page won't run After installing FrontPage 2002 on XP Pro machine, attempting to run FrontPage brings up installer with only "I" in the title bar.     - viewing in different browsers I notice on my monitor (17") my web pages look fine, only the up & down scroll bar. When I view it on other monitors, I have up & down and left & right scroll bars. Is there a way to upload the web site to a hosting service that will allow it to adjust for the monitor it is being viewed on.     - Unable To Find My Written Words To Whom It may Concern, I used the corporate web page from FrontPage 2002, and when I wrote my wording under the heading of the section Our Mission, I went on to finish up the web page. When I previewed the entire page after finishing it, the only thing that shows up in the section heading called Our Mission is the heading Our Mission. This isn't the only heading that didn't show my wording, I only used the section called Our Mission as an example. I saved it after finishing each section, and I kept it as an unfinished task so I could continue working on my corporate project. Now some of the other section headings on the other pages were just fine and I could read my wording that I had typed in, however some of those sections were broken up sentences and paragraphs under preview instead of what you see under normal.     - recurring meetings I'm attempting to create a reservation page using FrontPage. I have a situation where some reservations are recurring. I'd like to have a feature whereby users can select recurring options and identify their meeting is weekly, bi-weekly, second tuesday of every month, etc. This is similar to the manner in which Outlook works for us right now.     - Database lookup stops working when published I am accessing an Excel Spreadsheet via forms in an ASP page. When I publish to my own PC (I installed IIS and Frontapge Extensions) it works OK. The database connection is via a 'file' on the PC. When I publish it to the web (via a host service) it stops working. It just goes away, and doesn't return the results page. It is recognising the excel spreadsheet, because if I cancel it (after several minutes) it sometimes has one record from the database displayed. The web host company tells me it appears to work on their server locally, but not through the internet. They seem to think it has something to do with the DSN setting. If I simply "publish" the new web, won't that leave all the old (now unused) pages/files? Do I open the already published web through FrontPage, and delete everything? I just started experiencing a lock-up (freeze) problem in
FrontPage 2002. In editing mode -- when I use the
preview tab, I am not able to get back to the Normal or
HTML tab. I have to shut the page down and bring it back
up again.

I have been viewing in the browser as a work around, but
would like to know if there is a bug or something I can
fix somehow.

Have you tried the usual repairs?

1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
3) In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file CMDUI.PRF
4) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins
5) Run a Repair / Reinstall on FP & IE
