    - How to skip questions on a form using a command button I want to create a short 20 question survey using Frontpage. There is one question per page. Basically a form that posts data to an Access database. I won't be using Survey template or Sharepoint. Problem: The question for example "Do you drive a car to work" uses mutually exclusive Yes/No radio buttons. I would like to be able to direct the user to the next question (page) based on their answer. If they answer yes they would go to Question 2. "What type of car" If they answered no they would be directed to Question 3 "Do you catch the train" In other words question 2 would be skipped based on the no response.     - Set focus to bot element How can I set focus to a bot element? I tried giving the web bot an id but that does not work. What I want to do is have the search bot text box selected when the user opens the page. By default, the focus is set on the first object, which is a drop down box.     - Frontpage Additional and delete from database issue ok Heres the scoop cust table id firstname lastname datetime part table id custid partno datetime What I have is a form that shoots the id from the cust table to a another asp page just by having the ?formid=xxx at the end of the url. It pulls the correct info in both the database results for the customer name and the parts that have a custid that matches the formid in the URL. Now I want to ADD a part from the same asp page, so I dropped in a form, and put a textbox for part number, and shot it to the part table. Id is autonumber, then in the advanced properties, I put in that the custid would = ::formid:: or [formid] whatever. It just drops in the formid, not the acutal number above in the URL. How do I do this with my form? Second, once I click submit on this form to add this part, I want it to repull the same ASP page, with the same formid that the orginal customer listing page does.     - FrontPage 2002: Trying to do an image swap on mouseover I don't believe behaviours exist in this version. I'm trying to have a picture "placeholder" and some numbers to the side, that when you mouse over each number, a picture changes in the placeholder area.     - Form OnAction Question Hi All, I am creating a form on my navigation page that will allow a user to search either the Intranet for information or the Corporate Phone List. I have the corporate phone list option working perfectly. The form element onaction is pointing to ../../phone_list_search_advanced.asp. But, my Intranet search option uses a completely different approach to search. The search Intranet option uses the default *.idq file built into FrontPage. My question, how can I tell my page what action to use based on a drop down box. The contents of the drop box are Intranet and Phone List. If the user has Intranet selected and types in search criteria, of course the phone_list_search_advanced.asp page opens indicating that no match was found. No match was found because it's hitting the wrong page. I'm pretty much stumped right now on how to continue. I'm stoked that the phone list option works, that's the one I was worried about the most.     - watermark in netscape I created and gallery and I want the background to scroll over a background picture (watermark). All of the page work well with the watermark in netscape. The frist and the last page don't work with the watermark in netscape. Of course, they all work well in IE.     - Renaming web problems In my first week with Front Page 2003, those monkey-on-the-keyboard days, I created a web. Then I deleted the files of that web. I doubt that I deleted the web from Front Page. I now want to rename a web but can't. When I try to rename with the name I want, the error message says that site is "already in use."     - A form in Excel saved as webpage I have basically an inventory sheet I created in MS Excel and when finished I went to "save as web page" which then saved it as an .htm file. I then tried to open it in MS Front Page and it automatically opened it within Excel for some reason. I do not want it to do that.     - Shared Borders and White Space Hi, I am trying to put my own content into shared borders in FP 2000. There is white space around the outer edges of the page. I can change the page set up to 0,0 for the top border and it will be OK, but only for that page. If I create another page, I have to set the page properties again.     - Office Spreadsheet I'm not sure the best way to accomplish what I want, but I want to create a way for people to order a few products from my web site. I have set up an Office Spreadsheet through the Component section of FP 2000. While it works on my local machine, the spreadsheet does not appear on any other machines. It shows a red x like the image is missing. This is a basic form taking the quantity x $9.00 to equal the cost. Then adding $5.00 in shipping. Then finally totalling the product cost with shipping for grand total. Is there a better way to do this than using the spreadsheet component? Is there a way to fix the spreadsheet component to work?     - SP2 and ASP Pages Hi, I installed SP2 today and now, when I try to preview my ASP pages in my browser, I get a dialogue box (Security Warning)asking me if I want to Open/Save/Cancel. When I click on OPEN, it just brings me back to Frontpage. I am using FP2000 and XP PRO. The ASP page I am trying to view does not contain any connectivity code yet - I'm just building the design. I have diabled the SP2 firewall and stopped and restarted IIS to no effect. I reckon it's got something to do with SP2 security settings, but other than switching off the firewall, I'm not sure what else I can do. Any ideas greatly appreciated.     - trying to publish and I get.. I recently tried to update some minor stuff on my website and went go publish and got this message. The server could not complete your request. Contact your Internet service provider or web server administrator to make sure that the server has the FrontPage Server Extensions or SharePoint Team Services from Microsoft installed. For more specific information, click the "Details" button. Clicking on the "Details" button will display a "403 Forbidden" message.     - Online form not submitting Hi, The oline form on my clients site will not submit correctly. [It submits back to itself?] We had to move the clients site to a new windows server BEFORE the DNS had propogated - so we did it with ftp - knowing that would trash the FP extensions. So after DNS propagation the ISP reinstalled them - we then uploaded the entire site again with FP publish function! I am sure it is a server related issue but the ISP says ALL OK their end. Does any body have any ideas?     - How to Disable 2003 Server Extensions? I'm not sure this is the correct forum, but promise not to cross post. I am trying to create a Discussion Group on a new website. I am using FrontPage 2003 and when I try to post a message on the new page I get this error message: FrontPage Run-Time Component Page You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly. This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed. I emailed the website and they tell me that they don't have server extensions for 2003, that I should use 2000. Well, I don't have 2000.     - Using Access 2000 w/FP2003 w/XP Home Edition Folks, I'm new to FP & the web world. I've tried using the Database Interface Wizard to build a database to integrate into a web page and get errors. I created Access databases and cannot use them with FP2003 w/o getting various errors. I nosed around MS KBase and found a note that XP Home edition does not support IIS. Therefore, in order to create a "disk based" web site (during development), do I need to upgrade my PC from Home Edition to XP Professional Edition in order to use a database such as Access ? Also, if the upgrade is needed, recently I noticed several upgrades to XP Pro with the note (not full version). Any idea if these would work ?     - Pop Up Menu Positioning Hello! I'm using java to add pop up menus to my web site. Im pretty much in the clear, but I am having trouble getting the pop up menu to appear where I want it to. The problem is my pop up menu appears directly where I hover my mouse on the link, instead of slightly off to the side where I want it to appear each time.     - Strang "view" question Win 98SE, FP2k(Office2K), IE6. Creating a new site with 6 pages, not published yet. When I open IE6 to see what the pages look like, the pages are not centered UNTIL I hit "refresh". The pages line up on the left of IE with a small blank space all the way down the right side. Table #1, which encloses other tables and entire contents is set to 100%, as is all other tables. Suggestion please, I've never seen this before so not sure if it's just on my systems browser or not.
