Inserting picture into a table FP 2000

I created a table and when I go to table properties
the "USE BACKGROUND PICTURE" option is grayed out. I
cannot check it in order to add a picture to the
background. What's causing this??

You have your compatibility settings set to accommodate Netscape, which
doesn't support these. Go to Tools, Page Options and under Compatibility
check all boxes and set the drop downs to "custom"
