    - multi-purpose buttons Hello, I have a login procedure on my site at http://www.freisco.com/login.asp?returnURL=%2Fres%2Fdefault%2Easp and when the visitor logs in, it checks to see if they are approved for access into the site. What I'd like to know is if the same button could also generate an email autoresponder to me that would capture the user, password, and IP info from the visitor and then email me this info.     - Bad Page Width w/ Forms Present Happy Monday, everyone! I have some pages with forms accepting or displaying data in tables. When I select table properties an assign the Table Width property to 98%, the view appears to apply. When I view the published pages however, I see the arbitrary table dimensions - without regard to the IE window size, and the tables appear fixed-width. There are frames of some sort surrounding the tables in the FP02 editor window whose dimensions appear to take precedence over the table dimension definitions.     - ASP Query forms not working I have just posted a new site to my intranet and have input forms - all are working fine! The problem comes when tyring to run a query. I have an ASP form with no query that works fine, however I have a couple forms for users to query against the database, when I run the query in a browser I get a 405 rescource unavailable error..........     - Publishing to subdomain I am trying to publish to subdomain i.e. http://thisplace.mydomain.com do I need to have differnt ip addresses for each or is this a scripting issue, a server extention issue or a I don't know what im doing issue? I have the names sorted out in my zone files but they always bring up main website when i type the URL.     - single spaced paragraph I notice that when I create a table the text seems to be double spaced. When I format the para and change it to single space it still looks double; the only way I can fix it is to set 0 spaces before and 0 after the paragraph.     - Get server side file information? I copy my Access DB to FP's fpdb directory and then upload it, along with the rest of my web site, to my ISP's server. I'd like to have my ASP pages, which execute on the server, determine the Access file's Updated Date and Time and then display it in their output.     - Publishing Frames Contents Page I have a web using a frames template. The web pages have been uploaded using the publish function. The frame page displays the banner at the top and the main page. It does not display the contents page with the navigation. I changed all the page names to have the .html extension at the suggestion of the server tech people. This didn't help. The whole web works perfectly in the preview mode.     - Folder Write Permissions I have a ASP.NET project that I created in Visual Studio .NET that has a 'data' folder containing a database that the project reads/writes to. It works fine on my WinXP Pro/IIS5 development machine. Since VS options for publishing are very limited, I thought I would make the web on my development machine a Front Page web and publish using FrontPage 2003 since it allows selecting which files to publish (VS is all or nothing). From IIS, I selected the virtual directory and clicked 'Configure Server Extensions'. After that my project no longer had write permission for the 'data' folder. I tried every setting that I could find in IIS, Frontpage and Windows Explorer, but could not reestablish write permission - and restarted IIS after each change. Did I miss something? To get it back I deleted the virtual directory in IIS renamed the folder and created a new folder with the original name and moved all my files to the new folder. I admit that I don't know a whole lot about FrontPage and the typical MS help is useless. How can I use FrontPage to publish my files without it changing folder permissions on me?     - Playing *.wav files with non-Frontpage buttons? Greetings, I have for the most part developed a website with FrontPage 2002, SP3. I created most of the art with JASC Paint Shop Pro 8, including an Image Map from their File-->Export menu options. I would like to have very simple *.wav file play depending on different rollovers, but FrontPage only has that cheesy hover buttons and does not handle *.wav files anyway.     - Databse interface wizard doesn't work I'm testing Frontpage 2003 and Database Interface Wizard using Win2k server & SQL 2000. I have ADO version 2.8 and MDAC - 2.8 installed on IIS webserver 5.0 & FrontPage server extensions 4.02.7523 on the server.     - FP 2000 DHTML & Navigation Bars I have two problems/questions: 1. I have a DHTML effect on my home page - text to fly in on page load. It is not visible on my published site. Any ideas? 2. My left Navigation bar seems to change widths on different pages of my web. This causes problems with text wrapping. The most noticeable problem is the scrolling marquee I have in the Nav Bar. On some pages it looks fine, but on other pages parts of it are cut off (the bottom of the letters are cut off, or when it stops scrolling the first letter is cut off). Has anyone had a similar problem, When I open a html page from the FrontPage browser menu, I can see it in design view, but soon as I open the 'code' window, all code disappears.     - Agreement? Dear All, I am trying to create a form that the user inserts his/her particular like name, email and etc to upload to our server. However, before the upload, i would like to have another webpage either a normal page or popup that has a letter of agreement(something like when u install programs) that the user have to check a tickbox below to agree to agreement and proceed with the uploading. So my question is 1> what is the best way of doing this? I was thinking of having a checkbox at the bottom of the form and a link that will popup the letter of agreement. This can be done... I was hoping that by pressing the upload button another seperate screen that already has the whole letter of agreement displayed with the tickbox that will enable the submit button. However, I do not know how to do this as the form spans between pages... sorry i am new to web programming 2> is there any thing that i must comform to like security issues, legal issue to make this agreement to be "correct" and that the user HAS agreed to it and cannot debate about it later on...     - Misbehaving Hyperlinks I have set my hyperlinks to 'blue' for normal/visited and red for active - and have set the rollover effect to red. All is fine when I use the preview button - but when I preview in browser the hyperlinks are different colours. When I look at page properties the hyperlinks have changed settings to 'automatic' I am using a layout table - and have used 'include page' for navigation - the interactive buttons are fine - the problem is with the text links on the included page and on the main page. (I have checked page properties on both included pages ) The hyperlinks do not work in 'preview' but work (apart from colour) in 'preview in browser'.
