    - Help Printing Database Results I have a web page that shows results from a table based on the city/state the user chooses from two drop down boxes. I want the user to be able to print the results to their printer, preferably in a formatted format instead of printing the whole page using Print Screen or the Print button in their browser. What's the easiest way to do this? I use FrontPage 2003 and Access 2003, but I don't know JavaScript, PHP, ASP or any other language, so I would need examples to follow.     - FrontPage doesn't work with G0ogle? Hi, I've posted this before here in a different thread ('FrontPage keeps eating & changing my code') before I realised what was happening. Now it's time to try and pass the details to MS, who I hope are listening. Basically, the Google Map JavaScript must not be enclosed in a Table. It needs to sit ideally just before the /body. But when using Shared Borders in FP 2003, FP wraps the *whole* page in a Table. Oh dear. Worse still, when this is in a DWT Template and you manually move the /table in the DWT from below the Google JS to above the Google JS, next time you open one of the DWT child pages, FP gets stuck in a loop with a window popping up 100s of times saying 'your change [i.e. FP's auto-change] cannot be made because it is in a non-editable region of the Template' (or similar message). This effectively locks you out of your files. Here is the page in question, but any similar one will do the same: www.superhighstreet.com/streets/George-Street-Richmond Here are the workarounds I have tried, and why they failed: 1) Manually move the /table in the DWT child pages: FP puts them back at the end again next time you open them (works temp) 2) Move /table in the DWT itself: FP gets stuck in a loop when it tries to 'correct' this in the DWT child pages 3) Put the top .htm file in an iframe in the DWT child page: Google AdSense cannot use an iframe, so my ads don't see the main body of the page 4) Make the shared borders into DWT and try to include them in the main page's DWT: You can't wrap one Template inside another DWT file Eventually I used SSI to fetch the top and bottom borders, but the point is I really shouldn't have had to.     - Discussion web reply order I have the replies to posts ordered from newest to oldest. Question: Is it possible to push the original post up to the top of the contents list when their is a reply? Right now, if one posts a reply to an older post, it stays way down near the bottom, and makes it less likely to be seen by people perusing the forum.     - Includes in active server page I have a site that uses active server pages that work perfectly. The menu header and footer are includes. The menu has sub menus that open gracefully on another part of the current page. All is good UNTIL I publish to another server or site on the current server where the menu shows the button to the sub menu but it does not open. There are no error messages. NO olvides publicar todo el anuncio o carta pero con TU NOMBRE en la posici=F3n 6, desapareciendo el 1; cuando ya tengas pr=E1ctica solo te tomara unos 30 segundos por cada newsgroup. Se recomienda, adem=E1s, que cuando publiques la descripci=F3n de este =E1rticulo trates de darle un nombre que "atrape", como "NECESITA DINERO RAPIDO?, LEA ESTE ARTICULO" o "NECESITA DINERO PARA PAGAR SUS DEUDAS?", "BAJE ESTE ARCHIVO Y LEA COMO PUEDE RECIBIR DINERO POR CORREO" etc. y no as=ED "GANA MILLONES EN 1 SEMANA", porque nadie te tomara en serio.     - Membership Database Hi, I am not a bad HTML'r but suck at databases. I used the form generator to create a membership database. (MDB FILE) I know how to set up the ODBC. What I need to do now is to have a user sign in for privledged areas of the website. I would need some kind of code to check if a user has signed in or not and as well a logout I guess. Also, I would like to use a validater of some sort to verify the user signing up for membership... such as email validation, a user gets an email and has to click a URL link to validate before the information is stored in the database. I use FP 2003. Once again,. I am terrible at datbase structured language so please be verbose. Alot of my friends tell me I should use PHP. FP2003 is on my laptop, which I've left at work over this holiday weekend, so I am working on the site using FP2000. However, when I go to edit data, the edit form appears and I can change values but when I click OK to save changes I get the following error: Database Results Wizard Error Description: Syntax error in UPDATE statement.     - Protecting Javascript In my web site, the user pays through Paypal, then access a page with some javascript. I want to protect the javascript code, I know it's impossible but I want to make the access to it difficult.     - dates on remote web site not changing For some reason FrontPage 2003 has stopped changing the dates of the pages at the remote web site when publishing to a Windows 2003 server with FPE across the internet. Other FPE items like the search and linkbars are working. This failure to update the dates happens whether we publish the whole site or a single updated page. Basically this web page is a warning page that displays when users try to access "illegal" websites are then redirected to this warning page.     - Random Product Display Ok, I finally upgraded to FP2003, and it looks pretty neat. I'm wondering if there is a way it can fix a problem that I'm having. I have an asp script that is included in an html page - it shows product image, name, short description, and links to the detail page. There are 4 products shown, drawn from a database, and each time you revisit or refresh, the four products change. BUT, I get 3 different error messages - sometimes - and the products don't load in the page. I don't want to change the html page to asp - it has a decent page rank. Also the script is used in an asp page, and still gets the errors, so that really isn't the issue. In my site, I created a folder and inserted three sample PDF files. I then created a web page that linked to that folder, not any of the files. When it is located on my local machine, it opens up the folder and shows the files. Once I get it published to the site and I click on the link to open the folder, it opens a page that gives me the "You are not authorized to view this page" error. I also was building a joomla site in a directory ( not in the root of the site). When It was finished my developer tried to move the joomla site into the root but there was a conflict between the htaccess file of joomla and the htaccess file of the frontpage extensions of the server. When you fixed one, the other could not work correctly (in particular the SEF urls were not working in joomla).
