    - Can you make MS FP 2003 "<! MS..." remarks stop appearing? I have to place a script in all of my 208 webpages. The java script will only run correctly when it follows directly behind the <body tag. If not, you get an error and the script may not run correctly. It is used to place the graphics for my NavBar and has to be in that position to perform some calculations accurately. Else, the graphics look pretty weird. Can I make the "<! MS Navigation" remarks disappear by some setting in FP2003? I am using FP2003 on WinXP SP3. I can give you a URL to see the problem: http://www.integraserv.com/New/bursters.htm When I edit the code in Uedit and FTP it to the site, it works like advertised. I just hate to have to do this 208 times. I cannot place my script in an #include or a Shared Border because it does not put the code where I need it to run correctly.     - want to change the default text on a picture on my web site i have a site with a bunch of photos.. when you insert a picture the text associated with that picture is the file name.. so when the pointer hoovers over the photo, it shows the photo file name.     - Link Bar - Home won't show up Help! For some reason after I added a new link, the home button no longer shows up after the first move to another page. You can never go back to home. I've tried removing the one I added and still it won't work. I've looked at the navagational struture, I've looked at the link properties and clicked on Home Page as other links. and it just won't show up except on the initial entry to home page.     - Mac bmp issues Got a question about if there is an issue with a Mac displaying bitmaps? Because I'm doing a web site for a photographer who wanted to use some font that is not very common. So I had to put all of the verbage into a .bmp file. Looks fine in a PC but not in a MAC. Any help or verification that .bmp's don't work in MAC's and secondly, what type of program should I use/buy to get this issue straightened out?     - Migrating from MSFP Themes to CSS : Image Border Colours not working Hopefully this is a common problem and the solution is simple! I have an existing site that is a mixture of text and thumb-nailed images. I have been using FrontPage Themes but as these are becoming "chocolate box" / cliché I want the better control and flexibility of CSS. As a first step I thought I would replicate the Theme in native CSS, eliminating all the </p> <p> </p> </form> however when this is previewed it displays as - Surname " size="20"> which suggests to me, with almost non-existent knowledge of HTML that there is a problem with the code generated. 2. When following the wizard producing the Results & Query/Search forms I am not clear about what I should entry in the 'Value' box - when I enter 'Surname' as above the wizard puts that to the left of the query entry box and superficially that seems fine however I suspect I simply haven't got the concept of what should be entered here. I am using Front Page 2000 and I have a 61 page web,
http://www.fansfantasygifts.com and several days ago the
Home page lost its background. I am using a Theme, loose-
gesture and every other page is OK but the Home page,
index.htm, has a white background. I have uninstalled
Front Page and reinstalled it and I have replaced all the
files in the Theme folders. BUT, I created a new web with
only 3 pages and used the same default Theme as in my big
one and the Home page worked fine. Then I looked at and
compared every file in both webs to see if there were any
differences and I found none. At wits end, can anyone
help.
