    - Missing Page titles Exactly the same thing has happened to me it is driving me nuts. I am using FrontPage 2000 and have a well functioning sit (www.pinstripinguk.com) which has been operating perfectly for a year. I add new pages regularly yet this last week when I add paged to the navigation the content publishes fine and it looks great in preview but the titles do not appear I get the same graphic red X box as mentioned below and no one I know - knows what has caused this and how to fix it the site is using 17Mb and is hosts say there is not a problem at their end !!!     - Missing Data Hi, I am updating a web site for a client and am new to Frontpage. The files were originally created using Frontpage version 4. I am using Frontpage version 5. I am using FTP_Pro to download and upload the files. I am also running win XP. When I updated the file, (I was just changing an e-mail address), the new version of the file lost some of its content. The file dropped in size from 14K to 9K. Also the locations which contained pictures before only had a red x in the corner. I seems that the page had lost the link to where the pictures were located.     - How to post form to next page Page 1 has an input form field with action sending it to Page 2 Page 2 is a frameset with header and main page There is a database results in the Page 2 header frame that needs the Page 1 Form info to do its lookup. Sending to the frames page doesn't get it to the header page does it? I've already been told elsewhere I need to put something in the Page 2 frameset page to send the Page 1 info to the header page or use a javascript to send it to both. I'm really confused....     - Passing AutoNumber to another form I am developing a survey using Front page 2003 and SQL server 2000. The first form i collect the client data and upload into a client table.     - Interactive Buttons not previewing correctly HELP Hi everyone, I am trying to set up an Intranet site and I am using FP2003. I am using the Interactive Buttons for navigation. I have set up the site using Dynamic Web Templates with Editable regions for easy editing. The problem is that on most of the computers in the office the site looks great when opening in IE6. Everything is formatted properly and the structure is the same for all pages. However, on some of the servers when I bring up the page in my IE6 browser the interactive buttons spread out across the page throwing the all the pages off. What can I do to fix this?     - turning FP homepage into "index.html" My service provider wants that extra l...index.html rather than index.htm. I tried to get FP to see things my way by changing the name in the "Web site" folder, but index.htm would not comply. After I closed the site (the C: drive version) I forced the ".html" renaming in Windows Explorer, and that worked.     - Newbie needs troubleshooting help. Our intranet is on a Windows NT4.0 Server with IIS 4.0 and all the latest service packs. Our clients are Windows XP with all the latest service packs. We have a basic page created in FrontPage 2000 that has several links to Excel spreadsheets. When the user selects the link it opens the Excel spreadsheet inside IE 6. Everything to this point works fine. When the user is finished making changes to the spreadsheet, the user selects File-.Save As and a prompt comes up asking for the username and password. The heading on the box that comes up says 'Connecting to MM5' MM5 being the Servername. We never had to enter a username and password before. What is weird about the whole thing is that the same user logged into a different pc will not get prompted for a user name and password. The problem shows up on random pc's but once it shows up you must enter the username and password of someone with full rights to the area where the .xls is located every time. I have tried clearing all of the cookies ,deleting all off line content and setting all of the IE security settings as low as they go. I have no idea where to go from here. Question and answers form. then at end of questions and answers I want it to print the results. Now heres my question. I have worked with Forms before in fact I have several web based forms that email the gathered information.     - Linking to a secure page This is the first time I have ever run across the. I'm using FP98. The code look OK, and it works perfecting in preview. After I have moved the file to my staging server, you click on the link to the https site, and a new window opens properly, but everytime I receive a "page can not be displayed" error.     - PLEASE HELP - assistance needed for making expandible links I am working on a website for my office - stricly for internal inventory-type purposes. I have weekly Excel Spreadsheets which I incorporate to pages in FrontPage which are already set up to use. However, the 'index' page where these items can be clicked needs some work. I've been instructed to make each link, which expands to show all the weeks in each month and their respective inventory counts, expandible/collapsible or however it should be phrased.     - There is no catalog - message. Tried 183731 After following KB 183731 I still get: There is no catalog. The url listed is: http://www.mydomain.com/_vti_script/disc1_srch.htm0.idq I even tried deleting disc1_srch.htm0.iqd. It gave an error that that file was missing.     - Email relaying Hello, I am wondering if this can be done with FP I have posted it before and received a ambiguous answer but it was also not directly posted so here goes. I have a total at this time 5 web sites and I have two servers, one is a few miles away. I want to off-load 3 of these sites to that server (which I have no problem publishing to) The problem that I face is the mail server is Here with me and I cannot get the forms to work over there. (Email that is) I have no problem letting the IP through on my end but how do tell FP to do this or FPSE for that matter? The problem is that the target page needs some input to give the required info back to the user.     - multiplyng link-bars I've volunteered to make some minor changes to a FP 2000 published website. I have FP 2002 on my development machine. I was able to open the website with file/open and publish it back to my machine. I am not able to file/open web the website on the internet. Therefore, I do not have the theme: pvwood111. Is pvwood111 an older MS theme or someone's custom theme? Any recommendations other than contacting the original website author? It is not copyrighted. One more item: Each time I open some of the pages on my machine, the link bars are copied and left on the page. If I open and close the page 4 times, I'll have 4 sets of the same link bar.     - Inventory search form I built an inventory search form by using the wizard and then inserting a new result in the original result page. www.isisco.com/data1 will give a view of it. the problem I'm having is I can't get the search function to work correctly I'm not able to return any record as a result although, I chose a record parameters that I know exist. The first time I installed it my recently opened websites would be in the right pane making them very easy to open (instead of FILE>OPEN WEBSITE...then navigating to the MY WEBSITES folder.     - drw question Hopefully somebody out there can help me as I am stuck with a project I am working on at the moment. I have a web page that links to other pages and passes parameters to them. One of the parameters is the userid of the logged on person which is stored in a cookie. When I put the following code directly into an asp page : <a href="http://www.test.com?a=3686&b=<%response.write(request.Cookies("UserID" ))%> " target="_blank"></a> it works fine and the page translates this to (assuming I was signed on as testuser) : http://www.test.com?a=3686&b=testuser So that seems fine. I am now trying to change the page so that it is built dynamicaly from a database to save me future maintenance. When I use the Database Results Wizard to pass the link above, it does not seem to handle the response.write code and the link translates as : http://www.test.com?a=3686&b=<%response.write(request.Cookies("UserID"))%> I have also tried using the normal parameters but this ends up translating as : http://www.test.com?a=3686&b=::UserID:: I have change the receiving cell to show as HTML but is still does not work.
