 - 800x600 with FrontPage 2002 The webpage we created with V2002 is viewable as a full page only at 1024x728 resolution. Viewing the page with a browser setting of 800x600 requires the user to scroll to view the whole page. Can FrontPage create a page that is fully visible at 800x600 without scrolling?  - Can Frontpage strip code from Dreamweaver I am doing a website for a client that had the site done before I Started. The orginal web desinger used dreamweaver 3 I am using Frontpage 03- and in some of my tables the tables are visiable in normall view with the prices and everything in them- but when i view the code there is no code for the tables or it's contents.  - Lost Navigation For some reason I lost my top navigation. All I see is a box with a smaller white box within it with a red X in it. Even if I open my webpage in FP2000 (it looks Ok on the net) it has the same thing. Also, If I open a saved file of my webpage ( one I save weeks ago) its the same way. For some reason it doesn't show the links. If I click preview, the page that comes up and is the same but when I select one of the blank links it takes me to the page and the links show.  - Data Access Page I have a database in Access with Parent database and Parent volunteer event subdatabase. Data is entered into the subdatabase using a form in frontpage. That works. The Parent table is supposed to add up all the individual events and show cumulative hours, which it does when you run the query in Access. My question is etiher 1. How can I make the query run automatically within Access every time the subdatasheet is updated, or 2. How do I get the data access page from Access to show the data from the database (I can open the page, but only the title of the page shows), or 3.  - Sample Web Site - Good Java Scripts I have recently activated a new web site for the Fine Arts League of Cary (NC) (a visual art organization) located at: http://www.fineartsleagueofcary.org This site was developed using Front Page 2003 and, in addition, uses several freeware Java scripts to perform some of the desired functions as follows: Entry page slide show (with delay for dial-up image loading) E-Mail address obfuscation Password protected page The source for these scripts is shown on the Links page. While the site is optimized for IE 5.5/6.0 and 1024 by 768 the pages generally render ok using Netscape and/or 800 by 600. I have posted this in the hope that others can benefit from the searching that I had to do to locate suitable Java scripts for the above functions. If these functions are of interest to you please drop by and grab the script sources. This is my first web site so I am far from being a web design expert. I am far from an expert on ASP = programming, indeed the code I am using comes from "Sams Teach Yourself = E-Commerce Programming with ASP" but it is ideally suited for my = purpose. In short, there are 3 .asp pages (register.asp, login.asp & = checkpassword.asp - the code for each is below), a global.asa file was = automatically created and by following the instructions in the book, I = also created a small Access database called UserDB.mdb, which stores the = username & password of each user when they register & also verify's = those details when the user attempts to login again. The DNS connection has been setup within FrontPage and I have verified = that this connection works by clicking "Tools", "Web Settings" & the = "Database" tab, highlighting the DNS connection & clicking Verify.=20 The problems seem to occur when I try to register a new username & = password, for some strange reason the details I enter are not being = saved in the database table, and to compound the problem further, if I = register just a username, or a password but not both, the page simply = refreshes itself with empty boxes instead of giving an error message to = indicate that a "username" or "password" must be entered, which if I = have read the code correctly on the "checkpassword.asp" page, should = happen. To further confuse the situation, if I manually enter a username & = password into the database table and then attempt to click a hyperlink = taking me to a "test.asp" page, with the INCLUDE FILE: , I am automatically taken to the = login.asp, where if I enter the username & password that I manually put = into the database table, it takes me to the selected "Protected" web = page. In my mind that clearly shows the DNS connection is working but = yet it won't store new registered details into the database table, which = is extremely confusing. If anyone can see what I may be doing wrong, or point me in the right = direction, your help & advice will be greatly appreciated.  - Creating a Form I would like to create a custom form to collect recipes from several forums I subscribe to. I have tried to use the "Form Wizard" and the "Office Assistant" with no luck.  - No FTP Controls I am a little, okay a lot, upset about this and it really burns my butt so please excuse me while I rant a little bit. Maybe you can help me? I hope so. I have looked everywhere, tried everything, and there are no FTP controls that I can use to have many accounts under one FTP setting. Don't tell me to go to the file menu, select Open, go down to the Modify or Change FTP settings because that DOES NOT WORK. If it does, I have not figured out how to get it to work so I can switch from one to the other without shutting down first. Every single website I host is on the same server and therefore has the same IP address and the same FTP settings. the thing different with each one is their user name and password of course. This Frontpage 2003 DOES NOT allow for me to log out of one and into another. I have to completely shut down Frontpage 2003 and start it back up again before it will allow for me to enter a different user name and different password for the same FTP setting. The designers of Frontpage 2003 obviously did not intend it to be used by webmasters who actually are working on more than one website.  - Need help quick! Cannot upload to web server After a hard drive crash I installed Office 2000 on a new computer. I upgraded to FP2003. I am able to import from our present web site, but I cannot upload. When I attempt to upload, FP automatically adds our web site to the user name. How can I correct this?  - Discussion Webs I've tried reading through all the posts before asking this, but didn't find an answer, so I'll try asking. I made a discussion web on FP2000, and worked for a few days, but the TOC does not seem to update, and it seems from time to time the bullets in the welcome screen get right aligned for some strange reason. I can usually fix that by changing the alignment, but it's odd that it does that. The most annoying thing is though that I lose the messages. They are still on the server, but the TOC will not update. The server I use has the 2002 extentions installed, but confused on how to correct this.  - Image & Photo Gallery Problems Help!!! I am using Front Page 2003, and I have a 2 part question about inserting images. 1) When I insert an image (.jpg) in the design view Iall I see is a red x.  - IIS 5.1 (XP Pro) Will not run DBR wizard using FP 2002 I've used the DBR wizard to pull information from a table plenty of times on win2k and win2003 servers. Never had any issues. Today a customer wanted to run a web site off their box using WinXP pro. Told them it can be done no problem. However, when trying to pull information from a database using the DBR wizard, the DBR table displays a message I've never seen before: "This is the start of the Database Results region. The page must be fetched from a web server with a web browser to display correctly; the current web is stored on your local disk or network" And of course, when the page is diplayed it states the generic Database error. Contact your System Admin. -IIS 5.1 is running on WinXP Pro -Running 2002 extensions (did not install 2000, d/l the 2002) -All patches have been run. -No problems viewing any .htm / .html pages -No problems running Sharepoint admin -Using NTFS -No problems with permissions When I check Tools / Web Settings / Database tab, the database connection is verified.  - table column widths hi I actually have frontpage98. After inserting a table I want 3 columns of various sizes. The problem is when you add text to the cells the columns will resize instead word wrapping. A reply I got before says columns will resize with long words for eg. setting column width to any value like 30% doesnt fix them to that size as that is only the minimum.
