    - HTTP 500 Internal Server Error Experts, I was just making some test pages for the already made website. Anytime I upload the page i get this message. I dont even create the file i am just copying it and changing the name. How come the page that this copy originated works on the server but this clone does not? Any ideas? Thanks a bunch in advance.     - Drop Down Box Using the wizard, I created a Database result region that displays information from a database. With the same wizard I created a search form on the same page which is using a text box to let users to type the word they are looking in the datasheet. How can I change that text box for a DROP DOWN BOX . I created a drop down box and populated it with the choices I want, but don't know how to make the form where the drop down box is to look up for the information in the database.     - Getting error Ok. I have started to get this error. "Documents in this folder are not availible. The folder may have been moved or deleted, or network problems may be preventing a connection to the server." I disabled my FW and tried. same thing. I get this error when I click save as, or if I try to say go into a folder to use a image as background or something. I contacted the server, and they say it is something on my end, as they were able to access the site with FP no problem. What could this be, and what can I do?     - My theme disappeared! -Take two Hi, I am rrestarting this thread in hope of further input, this is what's been done so far. When I updated two pages (with Frontpage 2000) on my website (www.neurodynamik.se) the theme I use (piechart) just disappeared. The theme folder is still there on the website but it doesn't show on any page.     - FrontPage 2003 GIF Animations How do I make FrontPage 2003 do the FTP of GIF animation files to remote webserver from disk-based website without changing the gif file to a jpeg file due to various factors such as color ranges, etc.? I have already tried changing default on FrontPage 2003 pictures to retain gif type regardless of color range, and this initially worked, but now something else seems to cause the same problem again after adding more gif animations. I do the upload and publishing of the gif animations, but the animations don't work at web server end since the file type seems to be converting anyway regardless of successful upload and publishing messages.     - VBA bug workaround? I'm not able to get around a bug in FrontPage 2003. I'm hoping someone can suggest a workaround. For some reason, FrontPage thinks that 374 = 7309, but it correctly determines that 374 < 1000. I've tried: nTbHeight = .offsetHeight + 0 nTbHeight = .offsetHeight * 1 nTbHeight = INT(.offsetHeight) ...but nothing I can do will force FrontPage to assign the correct value to nTbHeight. I'm using the code to create and save roughly 80 pages, starting with a standard page that I'm using as a template. Roughly half of the saved pages have this problem.     - Unix, FP Photo Galleries & Subweb incompatability? Does anyone know of any known incompatabilities between a Unix server file structure and FP 2003 photo galleries? The problem I am having is that my host's Apache server uses the public_html file structure for subwebs, which does not allow subfolders under subwebs. I am a web designer hosting my non-profit customer's web pages free of charge on my own account using subwebs. My customers point their domain names at my subweb URL. The problem is that photos are not showing up and instead the red x is seen. In case you are wondering, I have Unix because I need each photo album to have its own permissions and a login for each visitor but we haven't even gotten that far yet. FP wants to produce "photogallery" folders under the root domain containing thumbnails, a javascript file and the various html files. This makes it impossible for me to track how much space is being used by each sub. When I move the photogallery123 folder files out of the FP-created folder and into their sub's folder as loose files (./public_html/subdomain/,) renaming each file according to the sub name, the gallery does not display properly on the web. Red x's show up instead. The albums display perfectly fine locally within FP using the preview tab. I tried moving the whole photogallery123 folder as a solution but this does not work because subwebs are not allowed to have subfolders. All files must be loose under the single root sub folder. By the way, I have not designated these subfolders as "webs" using the right click method to convert them. They are simply folders under the root domain's public_html system. All of the moving that I am doing is via click and drag so that FP can update the references. The major headache with this is that I have to rename every file by hand, one by one and then similarly move them and confirm each confirmation dialog box one by one to keep the references updated. With over 10,000 photos and over 100 albums to manage, I simply don't have time for this. I also don't have time for copying and pasting urls into aftermarket javascript code. There has to be a better way. Is the problem with this that I am trying to do this on a Unix Server? Will switching to a Windows Server make this any easier? I don't see how but I thought I would ask. I would like each photo album to have restricted access via logins for each visitor but that is just a dream at the moment. I would be happy if I could have even just one login for each album that each non-profit group can share among their own members. I found a knowledge base document #825451 titled subsites that references IIS Manager and Sharepoint Services but I am not familiar with these services.     - Solved: No Flashing Cursor in FP2003 in Design View in WindowsXP Yes, the problem also occurs with new pages created in FrontPage 2003. As with my old webpages, there is no flashing cursor in design view but the is in code view. I check newsgroups and found several people with the identical problem. It was driving me crazy!!!! I have over a hundred programs and nothing like that has ever happened. All of my programs are new and I upgrade ALL my hardware drivers weekly. I have all MY updates. I do full virus and Trojan scans weekly. I know it's a bug....in the past I've found and confirmed new bugs with all the major software providers including MS, Corel, Adobe and Macromedia. In fact, after applying you can reset the cursor width to the original width and re-apply and the cursor will still be there in FP 2003!!!!     - Quick FrontPage help please re: hyperlinks and bolding... I can't stop Front Page from bolding hyperlinks when passed over with a mouse pointer. I've never been able to figure out how to get it to stop doing this. Can anybody help please? I use Arial font set at normal, NO bolding. When you hover over a link with the mouse pointer, the font changes to Arial BOLD. This increases the space needed to display the text so the entire paragraph now has to shift to allow for the extra space taken up by the BOLD hyperlink.     - Tables and text Hello, This might be one of the most simple questions ever asked but it's nevertherless something really helpful to me. It Frontpage or any HTML editor lets suppose we have a web-site built within a table and thus cells. Within these some text must go in. My question is how does one stop the text expanding the cell it's entered in if its line length exceeds the width of the cell? I suppose there is some HTML code or Javascript which keeps this in order within design and preview views? P.S Is there any good site with such info and similar on it?     - Database Results Error Up untill last week I had thmy webpage working, people could search my database and get the results.     - FP_ASP Component I am having a problem with adding code to the FP_ASP component. FrongPage always deletes my code and restores its code. The problem is that even if I add my code to the top of the page, FP still moves it underneath its component. In the component, FP has a response.redirect, which redirects to a new page. My code does not executed, if it is underneath the component. I can save the code with a different editor, but when my client opens it with FP, the code is gone. Please help!!     - Online registration system & Access I am developing an online event registration application that will require a database that can store about 1,000 records and I am trying to decide whether we can use Access for this. We anticipate getting around 200-300 hits on the application per day during the 3-4 week registration period, with possibly 4-5 simultaneous users at any given time. In addition to read-only access (for the registration confirmation page), there will be some transmittal of data involved via web-based forms. If anyone out there has used Access for this type of application, how did it hold up? Are we setting ourselves up for disaster, or will Access be able to handle this kind of traffic? When I try to insert a new Hyperlink using FrontPage, FP does not allow me to browse the webserver where the web is located to find the file on the web server.     - Frontpage & Adobe - print multiple pdfs at once? Hello all and thank you for your time. I have a website with multiple pdfs listed (Table of Contents). These pdfs are consantly changing with updates and such. I would like to give the user the option to print all the documents at once to form a handbook. I would like to do this dynamically since the source is always being changed. I tried the Print All Linked Documents option but this printed blank documents and Adobe didn't like opening all those files, I got Adobe errors towards the end. I do not want to merge these documents into one pdf since I would have to after any update.     - FrontPage 2003 Not Working In Design Mode I just upgraded from FrontPage 2002 to FrontPage 2003.     - Find the table height? In FrontPage Design view there are two ways to change the height of a table. We can specify a height property, or we can add a lot of text in a cell to force the table to expand vertically. My program uses the second approach by writing data to a cell.
