    - Double spacing in FP2003 Hi, One thing that always bug me about designing in FP - When you hit return to go to a new line, it always skips an extra line so you can never get text directly underneath each other.     - Alternating pictures Hi, Using Frontpage 2003 I would like to have a picture on my web page that alternates between 4 different pictures after a certain number of seconds between each. So, one specifically sized box that alternates picture 1,2,3 and 4 and then starts over. I tried playing with the gallery option in frontpage but that does not seem to do what I want.     - How to change link bar descriptions and links Hello, Using FP2002, I did File/New/PAge or Web, selected Web site templates/Customer Support Web. On the left side, it has some kind of link bar(i'm assuming it's a link bar because when i right click on it, i get a link bar properties option). How do i change the text or link for the link bar items there ? When i choose the Link Bar Properties, i can't see anything that would allow me to do that. Any help would be appreciated.     - Problem with https converting http pages to https My web address begins with http://. However, I do have SSL pages with addresses that begin with https://. Here's the problem. If someone goes to the secure page and then clicks a link out of the secure page, it adds the 's' to http. As such, each page the visitor visits after leaving the https page pops up with the msg "some of the items on this page are unsecure, do you want to view the unsecure items". This confuses visitors and complicates their browsing. How do I get the links that are not secure to stop converting to https after a visitor leaves the secure page? -- Thanks a million.     - Help with IIF Statement Here is my IIF statement: WHERE IIF(('::GreatTotalScore::'=''), True, TotalScore>=::GreatTotalScore::) ANd IIF('::LessTotalScore::'=''), True, TotalScore <= ::LessTotalScore::) This works correctly. It is pulling the data from a query made in MS Access for the total score of numerous fields. However, It only works if both criteria are put in, meaning, I can't leave GreatTotalScore or LessTotalScore blank or it will produce an error stating missing operator. I have made numerous IIF statements in the past all identical to this one; however, they have all been for text fields. If I change this statement to the following: WHERE IIF(('::GreatTotalScore::'=''), True, TotalScore>='::GreatTotalScore::') ANd IIF('::LessTotalScore::'=''), True, TotalScore <= '::LessTotalScore::') (added single quotes to 2nd portion of IIF statemtn on both). That statement works also for everything MINUS scores of 100...it reads them as 1 instead of 100 (cause its seeing it as text). Does anyone know how I can repair this statement to work like the text version so it skips the input box if its null AND work like the numeric version to see a score of 100 as 100? Thanks!     - Publish to another file on local computer I have a website(site A) in which I have set up individual passworded folders for clients so that they can click on their client number and view their work as I progress through it. I build their website in it own web folder(Site B) and then try to publish it to their folder within "site A". When I try to publish "site B" to "site A" I always get the message "No web site exists at this location, do you want one built". If I say no, it won't publish as all. If I say yes it builds a subweb, which causes me problem when I am uploading Site A to the Internet. Is there a way to publish a site to a folder without a subweb being built?     - DWT Inheritence I was trying to work out if you could derive one template from another. Here's why. I have a site template which I have the company logo and menu's in etc. This all work fine. I also have a requirement to extend this to include a table which will include information relating to courses being run. I wanted to design the course template based on the site template so that if the site template changes it is also reflected in the course template. I did an experiement, I create this scenario where one template ( the sub template ) has the site template applied to it.     - Newbie stuck on 1st base - please help Hi, I've developed my web site using FP2003 from my xp workstation, it's a very simple web site containing maybe a dozen hyperlinks to files which exist in folders in the xp box. I want to upload the web site to a Win2K server which also sits on my desk at work - but I want to have the files exist on the server not the xp box. I can get the web site working mostly but when I click on the hyperlinks there is no download offered, the win2k server can't work out where the files are coming from. So I tried creating folders on the win2k server and pointing the hyperlinks there but still no joy. Can anyone give me a steer here, please - what would be the best way to achieve this. I have ordered "dummies guide to FP2003" but it won't be here for a few days ( Christmas post !! ) and I really need to get this finished quick. Is there a way to share applications on a home network? I mean one computer has the actual application ( word, excell, fromt page, etc) installed and the other computers on the net work can run those applicatins. So I went and copied all the files to my computer and am trying to republish the thing over from the files off my conputer to try and restore the website the way it is supposed to be and it keeps telling me i can't publish to the open site. I have been getting the subject message on all of my ASP enabled pages for
four or five days now and can't seem to get rid of it. We rebooted the server
once, which helped for a short time. Other websites on the server are fine,
but mine refuses to load ASP. It is critical that I get our pages up again
immediately.
