    - macros: find is unable to replace text in source: queryparams inhtml=true does not replace in html I'm doing VBA (macros) in the latest FrontPage 2003 with all updates. However, is there still buggy stuff? Using a SearchInfo, find replaces all the displayed text fine but seems to ignore in-html (can't replace text in the source code). I can do it fine manually via the Find & Replace window, but (as a workaround) I don't know how to fill out the windows' fields via a VBA macro.     - Working with text database in an asp page? I am trying to work with a coma-delimited text database in an asp page. The text database will be uploaded to the server every day. I have worked with asp code and and an access database (mdb file) and know how that works.     - GoLive compatibility I am having a problem with a web site created for me in GoLive. I am trying to upload it using FrontPage but it is not working. I am able to load it all into FP but it just stops when I try to upload. I am using FP 2000. Someone has recommmended that changing to FP 2003 may correct the problem. Will it? Are there other things I need to be aware of in the GoLive design end that can help to make the transition to FP easier. I need to continue using FP as the final user would like to be able to make changes on their own and it familiar with and dedicated to FP.     - Querying Data Results Page I want to see if someone has an idea on how we can automatically query some info by a person's User ID. Our server restricts users by this ID which just happens to be their LAN ID which they use when they log in to their pc. Anonymous browsing is shut off. Anyway, we want a Data Results page that will query itself by this ID when they access the page. I saw a Cold Fusion page that displayed this ID on a page and queried the database by that ID when the person clicked 'submit'. Can this be done in FrontPage as well?     - combine pages ? Folks I have a need to display the contents of a 2nd or 3rd page when an initial page is displayed. The pages to be combined for a single view is dynamic and therefore combining various pages into 1 larger page is not the way I want to go. Any way of doing this within FrontPage 2002?     - Odd problem - URL not opening Hi I have taken over a site. The host does not support FP server extensions. FTP the site last night. Noticed that when I try to open the site without "www" the browser reports "Done" But the site has not loaded. If I add the www i.e. www.capital-storage.co.uk the site loads as it should. Other sites I deal with do not have this problem. Can anyone shed any light on this? I am using IE7. Thanks in advance.     - Self guided webform Hello, I am trying to create a webform / survey that works with user given answers. All the answers are listed in a drop down box. What I want to achieve the following; ------------ a user selects answer 1 from question 1. As a result question 1.1 through 1.9 becomes active. Another user selects answer 2 from question 1.     - Data Input Page to Formatted Page - Help I need to create a webpage that has blank text boxes and lists containing pre-programmed options. I then need the page to take the information entered and the options selected and display the information on another page in a specific format. What is the best way to do this? Thanks. For example, On the input page I type the value of "Smith" in the name field, select "PA" from the list of states, and enter "2/20/2007" in the date field. Then I hit submit. It posts the data to the new page that is now displayed.     - Scroll table without scrolling the page? Hi All, I'm using FP2003, and I'm trying to get a web page to scroll a certain way. The page has thee tables/cells defined: a header across the top, a nav bar down the left side, and a main text area. I've defined a background image as a watermark, so it's behind all three. What I want is for only the main text area to scroll, though, without the header and nav bar to scroll off screen. I added a <div> to the main area with 'overflow:auto', but it's not quite doing what I want. First, it only seems to scroll the main area if the mouse is over it. I'd like the main area to "have the focus" no matter where the mouse pointer is. Also, whever the main area is scrolled to it's limits, the whole page begins to scroll, with the header and side nav going off screen. I really want the main area to scroll, but the header, nav, and background image to stay put. Finally, if possible, I'd like all this to work without any scroll bars having to be displayed. At least, if they have to be displayed, it would be nice if they stay on the right edge, out of the way. Can the behavior I want be gotten easily?     - Using a userform only once I have a spreadsheet that contains three userforms. The first one asks for user information. To access the form, I have a button on the spreadsheet that opens it.     - more frustration I have 3 columns and I am adding tables in each of them so I can have 3 seperate tables accross the display. Here is the issue. I can't seem to line up eqch interior table to the top of each outer table. It is just driving me nuts!! Is there a magic button here that will do this. SO I am adding 6 rows to one table in one column......the next one over to the right, I am adding 8 rows...and then the one next to the right is going to be one row.     - tables Hi I am trying to add a table with 4 rows. Each row needs to have different columns. For instance 2 columns on the first row, where my logo will go in the top left and a small graphic or text on the right. Both columns are not centered perfectly. (left is larger for my logo) The second row right underneath will have 6 columns of equal length where I want to add my product images. The problem is, when I add 6 columns to the second row the cells are never the same width. Anyone know how I can get them to equal the same width. I tried to distribute the columns evenly but that did nothing.     - Using Shapes in Frontpage 2002 Hi folks, has anyone had issues with adding a hyperlink to a shape in FrontPage? Here's what I am seeing: I created 2 simple pages. In the first I placed a single shape, an oval. Entering into the hyperlink of that shape I selected the name of the second page from the list provided. That name then appeared in the address box of the "insert hyperlink" dialog box - all seems fine. When viewing this in a browser (IE6), as I move the cursor over the shape the second page name does appear along the bottom of the browser window and the cursor changes to a hand/finger as it should. But when I click it absolutely nothing happens. Any idea of why the hyperlink of the shape itself does not work and / or how I can correct it? If I just place a "text" hyperlink on the page, all works as expected. If I add text to the shape, select it, edit the hyperlink properties and specify the second page, all works as expected however this has the drawback of having to click on the text vs. the larger shape. Another abnormality I noticed - when I re-enter the hyperlink properties of the shape, the address box that did contain only the second page name, will now contain the absolute path to the second page e.g. "C:\.....\secondpagename.htm" instead of "secondpagename.htm" Thanks T Note" these pages are behind and firewall so I cannot post a link that would work for anyone.     - weird runtime error - please assist When I switch over to "preview" tab of FP2003, I get a runtime error about Line 1 as it says there is an invalid character. Looking at my code, this is Line 1: <html> It then asks me if I want to debug it. Whether I say yes or no, nothing happens.     - Custom Data Results Page Hello, I am attempting to build a Custom Data Results page. Basically I have server permissions set so that only registered users can access the pages. When they enter data, my database then automatically captures their 'user name' (which happens to be their LAN ID). Anyway, I believe that if it does this without them entering this information I should be able to query by that automatically as well. So how can I get the Data Results page to query the saved data by these individuals 'user name' without them having to type it into the search form?     - erratic submission of forms data by email Can anyone help me figure out this problem. On my website I have a page with two forms. The user is supposed to fill out Form 1 and submit it then fill out Form 2 and submit it. The data is then supposed to be emailed to my email address. Now, until the past week, I have always received both forms when submitted by users. But in the past week, three different users tell me they have completed both forms, submitted both forms, but I have received only the data from Form 1. The data from Form 2 never arrived. I have done nothing to change my forms in over one year, so nothing I did would have caused this to happen. Interestingly, when I test the forms myself, I always receive the data from both forms. When I asked a few friends to test the forms on their computers, I receive the data from both forms. Strangely, Even while this is going on, I have had two other users successfully complete and submit data from both forms to me successfully.     - need help with CDOSYS Email authentication. HI! I have got a new server that requires authentication for cdosys to work and I have modified my script for according to online docs so I got the first part to work but the second part is driving my crazy :) The first part below gathers is pretty much standard config and I added the "sendusername" = "oneusername.com" and "sendpassword" =apassword" I do a form request for variables and then it sends a page to the user letting him/her know that we have received the email and it works. NOW this part is where things stop working.     - change wording when "no document found" My page is in Spanish. I included the option to search the site. But when no document is found, my Spanish readers see: "No documents found.     - Installing FPSE 2002 I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to get FPSE installed on a windows xp sp2 laptop. I can't find the install for the server extensions on MS site and the ones in add/remove windows components don't create a vti_bin folder. Is there someone that can help me out...Google doesn't seem to cut it either as most searches are leading me to a site that isn't on MS webserver anymore...     - Password Protected Rather frustating reading these posts... I am more confused than ever. Like everyone seemingly in this group, I too, am just trying to design a simple page that would allow a client to enter in their username and password to then be forwarded on to another page. All my pages are asp, my server supports, I have followed the instructions on "Password Protected Web Page-ASP and Access Database" article... twice. And somewhere I am still missing something or just not grasping it. I uploaded the pages and the logon page never comes up... let me rephrase it... it doesn't come up in it's designed appearance... it just the text code. The logon box for the username and password don't appear, there is no where for me to enter in the information. I know I don't understand the technical stuff that surrounds this. I am yet a simple person that used Front Page because it was easy for us no-bodies in the web design world be able to create a website. I would love another tutorial or direction on where to go in the Front Page site to follow-along or any advice I can get from here would be helpful.     - Have scroll bars in some table cells I want to be able to have scroll bars within particular cells in a table, as this table will be viewed on the web. As some of the cells are going to contain considerable data, and some of the others not, I want to be able to have scroll bars to these cells, thereby allowing for easy viewing for customers and also the table cell will not take up so much viewable webspace. I managed to add a Div to one cell, but although it showed the scroll bars in preview mode (webpage), on the design page, the cell kept on getting longer the more data I entered. Does anyone know the correct Div I need to add, so that works correctly and shows in both design and preview mode on a webpage. Hi all,
I have a webpage that has about 100 hotspots on it that have photos
hyperlinked to popup into a new window.
I would like to have each of those photos open up into a 600x800
window and not full screen like it is currently
I have all of my images at 600x800 resolution
I cant quite find the right script to achieve this globally.
Any help is appreciated
I am using microsoft sharepoint 2007
I have tried spawn by jimcosoftware and it must not be compatible with
sharepoint 07 because after install it is not integrated with
sharepoint
