Frontpage 2003 Timeouts

I just upgraded to Frontpage 2003 and now I can not publish updates without
the site timing out before everything is done publishing. This causes the
site to lose the navigation bar.

I have subwebs I created in Frontpage 2000. The site was opened in 2003
then tyied to publish. Failed the first time.

I did notice that many of the files I put in the subwebs (while under FP
2000) are also showing up in the root directory along with the subweb. Is
this normal or could this be part of the problem?
