    - Problem to configure Front Page Server Extensions I install MS Visual Studio .Net 2003 1.1 on a clean Windows 2003 Server and were asked to install Front Page Server Extensions fist. When I try to configure the extensions, it asks me for a password. I give it the Administrator username and password, but it still tells me 'access denied'.     - Moved website and now ASP doen't work with access? I built a new server (Windows 2003 sp1) and copied my website over from my NT4.0 server. The site is mostly html files and the search is asp. This "search" asp works fine. I also have an application in asp that the backend is an access database. This is the part that doesn't work. The new server IIS has the FrontPage, ASP, and CGI enabled.     - I am new to javascript and running in to some problems It has come to my understanding javascript runs when page is first opens this would be a problem if I use javascript in what I am trying to do: I need to understand how this can be stoped so javascript runs when the user selects the submit button which happens afterr the user has selected a option in the two radiobuttons that ask the user to choices pricing by each or pricing by dozen. The logic which parses the action of the radiobutton is inside a form that is contained in a table the form is used to send standard information to paypal server but what changes is the item number and price which is barried in some hidden input fields inside the form: I would be using some IF ELSE ENDIF logic around the two lines of HTML that changed depending on wich option the user selected in the radiobutton - since it has come to my understanding that javascript runs when page opens javascript my not be the answer and I might have to use PHP unstead But if PHP is the answer then I need it to run when information is being sent to paypal so this means it has to happen at the client side like HTML does.     - Looks good in one, bad in another The never-ending question I suppose: How do I get my pages to look close to uniform with the browsers. I'm using IE 6.0, and two testers are using IE 5.0 and 6.0 and my page comes up different in all three. Especially pusing the entire page wide when I set it up on a small design for 800x600.     - subsite / subdomain I want to publish a subsite / subdomain (http://www.subsite.mainsite.com) but I'm not sure how. In FrontPage I can change the subsite to a folder but I don't have any links in my subsite after I publish it nor do I have shared borders. Can I have only a 1 page subsite? If I don't change the subsite to a folder and publish it, it isn't accessible on the internet. I don't have links between the subsite and the main site but I do have links from one subsite page to another (at least I did when I created the subsite). Can anyone help?     - How do I prevent FrontPage from inserting WIDTH and HEIGHT on an I FrontPage has the most annoying behavior with pictures. It will insert WIDTH amd HEIGHT to IMG tags, even after I delete them -- it just puts them back in the next time I go into Normal View. The picture size box is NOT checked in the picture properties. This happens only if the picture URL is resolved (i.e. picture does exist at the URL address). This is extremely problematic for me, as the size of the picture can change, and if I'm not careful, and forget to delete the WIDTH and HEIGHT (inserted against my wishes) before saving the page, the picture will be distorted if the dimensions change. I have looked all over, but have not found a way of disabling this most aggravating behavior. Is there a way of prevent FrontPage from inserting WIDTH and HEIGHT to the IMG tag?     - manyi frames, data in one, problems accessing it from another iframe i have an order page mostly written in javascript. (it's been fun) not this part though. the IF statement and using the information from the form in one iframe in another iframe for processing, so it shows the orders made. I was simply copying a page from one folder, and moving it to another folder, and I got the following error: Server error: This folder is part of a thicket. You may not perform move, copy, rename, or delete operations on it. Instead please perform the appropriate operation on the main thicket file:tourney/brackets_report.asp What is this?     - My hyperlink will not work even though it tested properly. I created a hyperlink from a page to a pdf file in FrontPage Design. When I clicked on the preview option, and tested the link, it worked, the pdf opened. The hyperlink is correct and I published the new updates.     - How do I count and check drop-down box values I have a form that contains four drop-down boxes, one box each for a specific item (item1, item2, item3, item4). Each drop-down box has four choices (1, 2, 3, 4). So for each Item, the user can select how many of that item they want, up to four. For example they can select a quantity of 2 for item1, 3 for item2, 1 for item3 and 4 for item4. They then click submit. All that works without a problem. What I want however, is to limit the TOTAL number of items selected from all four items. They can select 1 through 4 in each drop-down but I don't want the total number of items to exceed 14. So if they selected 4 in all four boxes, I would need someway to count this and pop up a message that says something like "you have exceeded the total items allowed". I am developing a webpage with a layout table and various layout cells. Is
there a way to prevent a layout cell from resizing (an for the text to wrap
inside) when text is added. I want the text to just wrap to a new line and
not expand the width of the cell. I have tried to find this on MS sites to
no avail. Thanks.

It will expand until you add content to the other cells
(and based on whether you set a size in % or px)
- if the content is larger than your cell size setting it will expand beyond that
Table and cell sizes are minimums
