I have an Excel document with approx. 500 records made up of 52 fields
several of which provide status of our author's books which I would like to
make interactive with my website so the authors can view their own status at
different points in the publishing process. I have not been able to crack
this nut - can you help?

It's easier with Access, but, if you insist :-)
