    - Forms: sending info to email address and redirecting to another page Help! I am trying to send a form info to an email address and simultaneously have the form redirect to a checkout page. The problem is that onine by default FrontPage redirects to its forms confirmation page and not to the checkout page. The form work correctly in the Frontpage environment (redirecting to the checkout page) but online it redirects to the form confirmation page this means that I cannot process orders.     - manage editable regions when I name a new region the new name appears on my page like this: FU(title)RNITURE and also shows a tag above it. I can accept the tag, but the word (title)in parens is annoying. Also there is already a region named "doctitle" that appears in the list.     - Loss of Borders and Links I did a one line change to my index page and published the web site (changed pages only). Now the Border with all of the page links is gone on the web site, but shows up on Front Page. I talked to the web hosting company with no help.     - I don't see anything in my network places When I try to edit my web (on my Intranet in a Windows 2000 SBS-environment) I don't se any icons. For example when I'm trying to add a hyperlink I can't se the file I want to link to. I see all the files in the left navigation pane but not in the dialog box that appears. I also can't see any files if I create an ordinary network place using the built in guides. What have I done wrong?     - Publishing Updated Pages I have a temporary website uploaded onto the server in a directory accessable by my partners for updates before we go "live". When trying to publish the new changes using the Publish feature of FrontPage 2000, I receive an error when at the stage of "processing web updates". The error message is, "The server sent a response which FrontPage could not parse. If you are trying to connect to a FrontPage server, check with the server's administrator to make sure that FrontPage server extensions are installed properly." I am the master administrator.     - Looking for tutorial ??? I have recently purchased FP2003 and am a bit befuddled with how to get started. I have Photoshop experience and struggle a bit, but always get done what I need. I find FP's lack of explanation for terms and how to use them remarkable. How do frames,tables,cels,layers columns, relate. I've been doing a trial and error learning process and getting mostly errors. I end up with a page full of b&w dotted lines, blue lines, green lines, and great difficulty nailing images in the places I want them. Some tables are visible in preview mode and some aren't.     - Cant save changes I have had difficulty in saving the changes made to my hyperlinks. After putting in the relevant path to pages in my site (facepainting.htm) it will not save this as a change and reverts back to C:\\Myweb/mimicks/facepainting.htm. When i upload the links are not working as the link is being directed to my hard drive and not the web page. I managed to save the changes by doing it in My Network Places http:\\mimicks.co.uk and the changes were saved there but they were not saved in Mywebs.     - Password Protection Validation Message Hello: I need to password protect a certain page from within my web site. I added a password field to the form on my home page (http://www.sliaa.com/default2.htm) and set the validation so that your are required to enter a specific password (in this case, sliaa).     - Unable to send form results to an email Hello~ I am currently using Frontpage 2002, running IIS 5.0, Win2K. I'm pretty familiar with FP, but have had some problems having the form results sent to an email. I can set up the form to have the results send to a database, but that's it. Now the form is set up to e-mail results when it's submitted - however when I save the form, we get the following FP error message: ---------------------- This form is being created on a disk based web or the FrontPage server extensions have not been configured to send e- mail ...etc... Would you like to remove the e-mail recipient? yes/no ----------------------- Properties of the form are set correctly and as far as I can tell, SMTP Services and FrontPage extensions are installed correctly and set up for e-mail to indicate the correct SMTP Server and email addressses to be used. IN addition to the problem saving the form discussed above, whenever the form page is accessed by a visitor (or through a browser locally) it shows a line that says "[FrontPage Save Results Component]" at the top of the form, and whenever the form is submitted, the user gets the following error message: ------------- FrontPage Run-Time Component Page You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly. This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed. | use this same FrontPage program for another website and
| it works fine! Why did it stop working after only 8
