 - Syntax error in INSERT INTO statement I've been trying to figure out what the problem is with the following code. I've ruled all the fields out except the CountryID field, which seems to be producing the error.  - Does size matter? Does the size of the file matter when importing a PDF file into FP2000? For some reason I get an error message every time I try and I cannot import it.  - Title of Target pane in Navigation view I'm new to Front Page and for now attempting to develop a web site based on navigation structure. I would like to use the option of setting link bars based on navigation structure; however, my titles on the target page are being truncated even though the font size is small.  - Hyperlink thumbnail image to a larger image on same page I hope someone can help me. I am relatively new to FP (2002)and am in the process of creating a photography web site. I have a row of 4 thumbnail pictures and what I would like to do is to be able to click on the thumbnail and have that same picture open as a larger picture for the person to view on the right hand side of the same page. I'm trying to avoid the viewer having to keep opening a new window, then closing it for each picture they view. I hope I am explaining this clearly. I cannot seem to figure out how to do this or if it is even possible. The photo gallery option front page offers is nice but seems to be too much clicking.  - FP 2002 import spreadsheet i am new to FP but have a small web site up. Now i would like to add our local cemetary records which are in an excel spreadsheet. About 1000 rows by 10 columns.  - FrontPage and Flash I'm new to FrontPage, about two weeks. I took two one-day classes. I also took a one day DreamWeaver class. It appears, from my limited exposure to both, that DreamWeaver does more. Expecially with Flash? Yes? No? One thing I was wondering, we did an exercise in DreamWeaver where we added a Flash button where, on Mouse- over, a little star spun around. on another button, screens open revealing the button. Can FrontPage do things like that? Sorry if this is trivial sounding but I'm hoping if I can understand how a few tricks (special effects)work, I can start creating some real flashy (no pun intended) and classy looking pages.  - It didnt work I am using FP2000. I would like to add a PDF file 3,308KB in size (our catalog) so my customers can download it. Can this be done, and if so, how?  - Using % to specify all values in a database query. I am trying to give users a choice with a drop down box to pick a single month in the year or all months in the year to query a database by using % as the value for a choice called All Values which I read about in a KB article. It does not work. I get no results out of the query when I choose the All Values option, but do get results when I choose an actual month.  - Single line spacing doesn't work. I'm new to FrontPage so the answer is probably simple. When I create a new page and start typing text, the program defaults to double line spacing. I can go to the paragraph formatting box and check spacing=single, click ok but the line spacing is still double. I can purposely select and use 1.5 and double but can't use single.  - db connection lost I've lost me database connection. When I attempt to show a page it says the database connection cannot be found..... I've used Tools, Web Setting, Database and verified it there... I've had to reinstall my OS (98 2nd ed) since I made this website, so maybe that screws something up. Any ideas? Thanks.  - Text Flow problems without extensions Hi, I am working with FrontPage 98 and am having a problem with getting text to flow around an image when viewed on a server without the FP extensions. The flow looks perfect in normal design view, but when previewed, the text is partially hidden behind the image. Does this have to do with not having the extensions on the server? Is there a workaround? (The design was originally created in Publisher - exported to html and then the various elements of the page pasted into a blank FrontPage web page.)  - Simple Math for asp I seem to keep having this problem with simple math fuctions. Such as I am pulling dsata from my SQL/web server running IIS 5.0 on a win2000 server. I want to take a part number, get the qty due and multiply it by the unit cost. x = rs(12) * rs(13) when ever i do this i get a type mismatch. I can do it on a VB form but when I try it in asp i get the error. The web server is set up with session state enabled. If any one has a clue please let me know.. Thanks........  - Publishing web to server. Hi, We create a web on our local computer and use Frontpage to design the navigation. The root file of our web on the local computer is index.htm On the server we have set up a website area and Apply the Server extensions. When we publish the web from the local comptuer to the server we noticed that the root file is now default.htm on the server. We tried changing that directly on the server, but we lost all the navigation on the root page. I can understand that happening. SO then we started all over again and we changed the server so the home document would be index.htm and deleted all the other possiblitites.  - PowerPoint 2003 .htm linked to home page I created a presentation in PowerPoint 2003 and then saved it as an .htm using the save as web page control. I places the new files on my web server and linked the presentation to a menu button.(The page is in frames.) The presentation plays fine, but when it ends the message "Click to exit" appears but click doesn't close the presentation. How can I return back to the Home Page when the presentation ends?  - Navigation bars show as text not graphic I'm using FrontPage 2000. The server is using Front Page 2002. Everythng work fine when I publish using http, except that the navigation bars show up as text not as graphics. I tried a number of different themes, but the result was same every time: text, not graphic. Any ideas why this is happening and what I can do to fix this?  - form data not shown in text file or database I am tring to use a form to enter data into either an Access database or write data into a text file. With either option everything seems to be Ok (I get a confirmation of data entered) but I do not see the new data in either the database or the file. I am using FP2002, IIS5.1. ASP is working correctly because I can get a page counter to work. One thing I have noticed is that in the tools menu the "server" option is grayed out so I can't check permissions. Also when I publish to local host i get a message saying server does not support ASP yet I have proved it does. The files still transfer Ok. Can anyone help me ???????  - FP 03 - Backward Compatable? A year or so I created a simple theme-based site for a friend using Frontpage XP. She also has FP XP installed on her computer, and does minor updates from time to time. I recently upgraded to FP 2003, deleting my older program. If I make minor or major changes to the CONTENT of the site (that is, adding or moving a page, updating text on a page, etc.) with FP 03, but I don't change the theme -- will we both continue to be able to access the site? Or does FP 03 make "behind the scenes" changes that will make it difficult or impossible for her to make changes of her own? What happens of I publish a copy of the site to my hard drive and then republish it to another server? Will this process make changes that will effectively shut her out of the site?  - Tables Float Property I am trying to place a Nav Section to the left of my web page. I can insert a Frame, but would rather create the section as part of my Home Page. I also need it below the Header. Just a colored square with links on it.  - Annoying Flicker What can I do to identify the cause and remove this annoying screen flicker I have when using FrontPage 2002? It only happens when using FrontPage, and no other programs.  - formatting e-mails sent by frontpage form I have a form implemented that sends some data to an e- mail address. Most of the fields are short text or radio button forms, but 2 of them are 4-line fields.  - FYI on Hosting accounts I recently started using Frontpage. My account was being hosted on "GoDaddy.com" Fine for sites not using Frontpage, BUT a pain if you are. I changed to a new host and GEEZE what a difference! The server is Windows and all the Frontpage goodies work the way they should. You'll need to add ASP code to the page to authenicate login.

You may wish to take a look at Page Protector or Page Protector Pro.
