After creating a form in frontpage and submitting it, it aks for a username
and password.
InCorrect uid & pw = You are not authorized to view this page
Correct uid & pw = takes me to confirmation page.

Any suggestions?

Make sure the server has "server write" permissions set for the _private folder.

Depends on what kind of server your site is hosted on??
If a windows server you'll probably have to have your host do it.

If Apache/UNIX you can do it via the web masters CPanel if the account has one.
