    - Some items remain unmatched after publishing I just made a few changes in the local copy of my website and published it using FP 2003. Everything seem to have gone OK and the changes were made. However, now when I compare the two sites with FP, some of the items are still marked as unmatched. Should I worry about that?     - Accessing a SQL Server View in an Data View I have created a data view in the past which returned information from a specific SQL Server table. I'd like to create a data view that returns information from a specific SQL View. When I go to create a data view and I look at the list of Tables, views or stored procedures, I only see stored procedures and tables. All of the items are listed as type "table or view". But I only see tables there. I originally thought I had a permissions issue, so I tried it as sa and that didn't change anything either. Is there something on my SQL Server that I need to change?     - navigation bars from frames page Someone was kind enough to answer my question, but the suggested work-around did not work. I have a page with three frames, including a banner target page. I'm trying to put a navigation bar on this banner page, but was told that FrontPage will not allow it. The responder suggested entering the words I want to use, inserting a hyperlink to them, and that would solve the problem as a work-around. I tried this, and the same thing happens. The page I'm hyperlinking to opens in one of the three frames which are on the page which I originally set up. But, I can't get back to the home page, I'm trying to open as a full page display.     - navigation bar problem on a frames page I have a page containing three frames, banner and two side-by-side. I placed a navigation bar in the top frame which was hyperliinked to the home page of the web. After publishing, the home page is opened in one of the frames on my page witih three frames, if does not take me back to the home page itself. How can I correct this. I like to verify the check box on checked before to send the email out. If the check box do not check, display the message to user.     - Hyperlink to a specific graphic on a different page On page 1 I have a graphic (bmp) listing places to visit on page 2. Page 2 contains 4 layers each which have a table inside.     - Hyperlinks don't work after publishing. I'm new to FrontPage and Web stuff in general. I've noticed about 1,000 people have just repeated posts for help with things like "How to get rid of underlining on hyperlinks." I can actually do a lot of that stuff because I've worked hard at reading up all I could about FrontPage and hyperlinks and such. SO, if I repeat this question, it certainly isn't my intention.     - Detecting the proper reply email address in a form I've have a bit of experience with forms, but now that I want to use an autoresponder with my new form I'm having a bit of a problem. The autoresponder is detecting the webhost server address instead of the subscriber's email address in the form. What do I change where to correct this? Side note: when I save the form I get a message that says the form won't email the results, but I know it will, so I click the ignore button and save anyway. With all my other forms I've gotten the form result in an email, though I wonder since I'm wanting the results to be read by an autoresponder I'm doing something entirely wrong. The users are using Windows XP, the webserver is on Windows Server 2003. Now, because of the quantity of users, the website policy is anonymous. This means that users do not login to the website.     - Frontpage seems to be slow I am teaching myself how to develop a website with Frontpage using the tutorials and have built a website at www.sollert.com/Beta I used the display tables to place cells at the appropriate places on the page and inserted the buttons and jpegs into the cells I have noticed that on downloading with IE , the various buttons load slowly enough to see the placeholders before the image drops onto them. It looks pretty sloppy. Strangely enough, the site loads much faster on Firefox and it looks OK Can you advise as to what I need to do?     - Want links to open in same window I was using FP 2000 and when I clicked on a link in a page, it would open the link in the same location (page, or what ever). I upgraded to FP 2003 and now when I create a page with links and click on one, it opens in a separate window. BAD!! What I have are many thumbnails that link to a separate framed photo with a "back" button so as to stay on the same thumbnail page and go back & forth between thumbnails and their respective framed photo. I also have pages that have several links to other pages in the same site and I would also like for these to all open in the same window. Right-click the new folder and then click Properties on the menu that appears. 4. In the Properties dialog box, click to clear the Allow scripts to be run check box. 5. Click to select the Allow anonymous upload to this directory and the Allow uploaded files to overwrite existing filenames check boxes, and then click OK. Problem!!! When the properties dialog box appears the items that need to change are embossed, the check boxes and text are there but I can not change anything. How can I remedy this thorn. I've created a class that listens for the OnBeforeSave event, and when
the event is fired, parses the active page and encodes all special
characters as entities. What I want to happen is instantiate this class
when Frontpage starts or when a page is opened. I have a Sub that does
exactly that, so how I do have this Sub fired automatically?

Unfortunately, I don't have administrative rights on this machine, so
creating an add-in or Active X component is out...

The functionality doesn't exist by default. Years ago there was a COM add-in
that would allow this. Do a search on it and you might be able to find it.
