I have a Linux plan with my host. While trying to upload using the same
process I've always used, I get a message from F.P.. Server error, stating
the server sent a responce which F.P. could not parse.
The option I've always used in remote web properties is F.P. or Share point
services.
A Tech. at host co. said they don't use share point service, when I told him
it states OR Share point serv., and that I have always used this option for
uploading, he replied it again and to just drag and drop into the FTP.
Do I have an extention or an understanding problem. Thank you in advance,
oblio

FP using the same dialog regarding errors and warning message for both the FP extensions and
SharePoint. Do not use FTP if you site is hosted on a server that has the FP extensions.

Ask you host to run a server health check and let it correct the Permissions on the extensions.

If you use FTP to publish to a server that has Extensions installed it will break the extensions.

On a Linux server FrontPage Extensions and Sharepoint mean the exact same thing.

So, tell your host to repair / reinstall the extensions for your domain and then do "not" use ftp to publish to your
site.
