Can someone point me to the API Documentation for extending FrontPage and/or
Expression...please. Its unbelievable how difficult this is to find. You go
to Macromedia Dreamweaver and they elaborate documentation, process, even
books on how to create Dreamweaver Server Extensions.

Google for "FrontPage SDK"

The SDK for Expression is not available yet.

Well theres a disconnect. Since most of the push to ASP.NET and new Visual
Web development tools, there is little information on how to create add-ins
that work with new Office 7 tools. FrontPage SDK documentation from 2000 is
of little help for Expression and the new stuff. Why isn't there at least
some "beta documentation"?

Have you considered posting to the Expression beta newsgroup?

Yep...and already did post there 3 months ago. Even supposedly got on a
mailing list by personally emailing the product manager...but I haven't
gotten anything since then. Your about to release the product and we have no
way to move our product form FrontPage to Expression....no information
whatsoever.

Yes...
I found the product managers blog and he posted his email. He was nice and
responsive which was great. I just think that would be helpful if they would
involve partners more. At this point, it would appear we will need to
release products that support Dreamweaver and neither Frontage which is
legacy or Expression which has no published API.

You can't really expect them to provide an SDK for a "beta" product, as too much can change between beta and RTM.
The SDK for Expression will be available when Expression reaches RC1 or RTM.

use our products with the beta version of expression in fact...even without
expression being released.

It's time to educate your customers about Beta software, I would think.

Then the obvious thing ( imho ) to tell your clients is:
MSFT has yet to release the required SDK so that we can verify that our Add ins are compatible with Expression Web.
It is standard knowledge that "All " beta software carries a "Use at your own risk" warning.
Therefore, the same warning applies to the use of our Add ins with the beta version of Expression Web.
